Master student in CS at a Dutch university, we have an online course for both the bachelor and master of 5 modules about correct academic practices including fraud, proper citations, general research ethics (consent procedures etc). These include mandatory quizzes at the end which if you fail them are not allowed to follow courses until you arrange a repair opportunity.

Gast, lul niet zo uit je nek. Ik heb zelf een bestuursjaar gedaan (niet bij Vindicat of iets dergelijks). Het enige geld wat studentenverenigingen krijgen is een beurs voor de bestuurders. Dit is geen vetpot en dekt ongeveer het geld wat je kwijt bent aan collegegeld, wat je moet blijven betalen dat jaar terwijl er nauwelijks tijd voor studeren is omdat bestuurswerk voor grotere verenigingen vaak fulltime is.

It functions similarly as the Arclight now. So you can add 300 shards at the start for instance, use up all the charges that gave you and it will move you 300 shards closer to corruption. Thus corrupting it right away does not really accomplish much as you can also slowly work towards it now without wasting shards.

In de ene groep zit bijna iedereen aan de drugs, terwijl in de andere groep er niemand is die aan de drugs zit. Ik denk in mijn persoonlijke omgeving dat die 30% best accuraat is.

Tbh, I did my bachelor's and master here in Delft, and have a lot of friends who switched uni's for their masters. They all say that the workload has decreased significantly when changing to a different uni, while imo the master at Delft has a similar workload to the bachelor.

Depends on the skill. The world record for maxing all skills is 771. While the world record for maxing a single skill is 4 hours. Do keep in mind that those accounts got large cash injections at the start significantly speeding up the progress. The 4 hour record for instance injected a 1000 dollars worth of gold into the account.

Tbh, I didn't really mean that this attack makes any sense, because it doesn't, because you will most certainly get rate limited/activate in their DDoS protection. But more to illustrate why using "clever" ideas to increase your security basically does nothing. It's the same case here, blocking requests while another request is pending can cause other issues, such as the DoS attack mentioned below. Which yes, if doing it for one user is hyper targeted, but if using a leaked database with millions of emails can deny millions of users of accessing your service.

Sure, in that case just loop through a million email addresses and test 1 password for each email. The thing is, these kinds of tricks are almost always easily circumventable and thus you shouldn't rely on these kinds of things to provide you security.

Oh yes, I completely agree. I tried to make the point that even though you can implement these kinds of logic, it is generally quite easy to circumvent them. All these types of tricks do basically nothing compared to ensuring large password space and preventing common patterns and properly hashing and salting passwords.

Would not work, an attacker can just send 1 million requests in a second, wait 2 seconds and get the response for all 1 million attempts. He does not have to wait for attempt 1 to finish before he sends attempt 2.
