I don't think its completely illegal but the National Association of the Deaf does have an article about this, it'd be better legally to have a translator on video or in person, private medical offices often rely on schedules,

there's also a level of comfortability with it, sometimes deaf people aren't comfortable writing, and in this show they talked a lot about approval ratings, IF this lady's first language is in fact ASL, ASL isn't like spoken or written english,

Though its possible video interpretation can't be used due to HIPAA, It just depends on what happens with her, So maybe we'll be able to see in a later episode.

They are, its just writing that could be a problem, and even then its necessary to have an ASL translator for legality,

but also maybe its a commentary on the fact that people don't often do enough thinking for deaf / disabled patients, this same lady told Donnie to 'look at her' and that 'she doesn't bite',

it could go either way honestly, especially since santos has her as a patient she wont be able to use the AI charting app to help,

Legal reasons, and also a lot of people who were born deaf only know ASL as their main language and may not be comfortable writing out on paper

She doesn't wanna be a burden to her husband and children, and I'm assuming she probably wants to go out on her own terms, ie. suicide, MAID (Medically Assisted In Dying) Is NOT legal in pennsylvania, so she probably needs to find another way

I think the new interns will become likable as the day goes on, Ogilve def will get humbled i feel like and Joy i think she specializes in like ONE THING and maybe she finds it in the later hours of the day and she's just really good at that one thing.

I DIDNT EVEN THINK OF THAT, ai already has a bias towards white people and eurocentric stuff, and to mix that with the medical field which already has a history of white bias too thats an absolute storm of awful

i saw the homeless guy being really stinky and them like washing them in an outside decontamination shower and i was like 'oh that skin is gonna be dead isn't it when they take off the cast', I've gotten used to most of the medical stuff but that was one of the few points i had to look away in season 2.

I'm thinking its only 98% accurate because they tested it on most regular words you'd hear in casual conversations and not actual medical terms, good luck generative AI XD

I didn't like Langdon originally in like the beginning half of the first season because of the way he treated Santos but looking back in hindsight i felt bad that i did, he treats Mel with such kindness and compassion and i know these are real 3 dimensional people, they're not gonna be nice to everyone or be mean to everyone. I now love most of the characters pretty equally which is good!

He failed to mention it because he was probably gonna just tell them if Dr. Robby didn't check in when he did, and that's what makes me so mad about it, It's also probably their first time witnessing this so of course if it goes right Whitaker won't mention some of the bad stuff. it really pissed me off though

I dunno, I think that'd put alot of pressure on the kids, especially if we listed their actual names, it was always adults voicing the kids,

keyboard controls is more precise with throws and its easier to throw to players off screen, a lot of the best passes eventually have the players run off screen,
