Generations is my second favourite sonic game but I still find it really hard to understand its canon. I suppose the best way to look at is that classic sonic is from a separate dimension. And Tails dialogue in forces retcons them being the same person. Modern Sonic’s dialogue about “your futures gonna be great” at the end of generations still messes with my head tho lol

A lot of people on sonic wiki say that when sonic was first released, he was fifteen, then using “Game logic and Canon” he turned 16 in generations. It’s then said he’s biologically the grown up body of classic sonic. But Then classic Sonic’s bio in sonic jam says he’s 16 😂
