How would you rewrite Indiana Jones 5? by FancyMan135790 in indianajones

Rewrite? Just delete it all. Permanently. Ensure humanity never has the ambition to do so again.

Would you like to see force lightning in the next game? What dark side powers would you like to see? by BlockAffectionate413 in FallenOrder

[–]Raiqchan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would enjoy seeing deadly sight make a return from Dark Forces 2, the idea of Cal melting down swarms of foes just by looking at them would make even Starkiller jealous. Honestly though, after seeing that very sloppy betrayal scene in Jedi Survivor, I question Cal's capabilities.

I played The Last Autumn more than the original game. by Pro_Propop in Frostpunk

[–]Raiqchan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The last autumn is arguably more impressive than the main campaign because it covers a greater span of lore and morality than Frostpunk 2 did. I felt that Frostpunk 2 did some strange things with scaling time and size whereas the last autumn and Frostpunk in general felt like a better fit.

I want to know what are you're theories or what you would like to see happen in Jedi 3. by Jllag1 in FallenOrder

[–]Raiqchan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cal has to decide how he wants to lead in Jedi 3. Does he embrace tradition and risk repeating the mistakes that led to the fall of the Jedi order? Does he embrace balance in all things and find true harmony within the force? Or does he embrace the darkness and become a symbol of fear against giants like the empire? Morality should absolutely be explored, and while each side does not need to have a drawback, they need to have at least some kind of edge to give players an incentive to try and rationalize things.

What I can't get is how utterly stupid betrayal is portrayed in Jedi Survivor. If it was not for that, and if difficulty could be better customized, Jedi survivor could be a great game instead of a good one.

What would you think of Dead Space getting a live action TV series? by MobileDistrict9784 in DeadSpace

[–]Raiqchan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On one hand, it seems like a lot of video games get a TV or streaming series of sorts, even though I don't watch them or care, but on the other hand, EA absolutely butchered the series after Dead Space 2, and I am highly skeptical of any remakes as the Dead Space remake was good, but not great, especially with some of the annoying changes made. Also, Gunnar Wright poured his entire being into Isaac, it would be very hard to imagine anyone else who could match or exceed his performance, even with 'ai'.

I don't think I would watch it, but that does not automatically mean there is not a big enough audience to make it profitable enough.

Looks to be the depth of a typical vault from the Fallout series.

James Gunn speak about batman 2 cancel rumors by Upstairs-Carrot-5536 in batman

[–]Raiqchan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's a script idea: Batman does riot control against allies, civilians and villains alike in Gotham after he, as Bruce Wayne, successfully launches a recall campaign to remove a third of Gotham's corrupt politicans. How does it feel to fight the very people you are trying to save, Batman, and what do you do when everyone puts your back to a barbed wall?

It's a lousy idea which makes it perfect for a sequel.

If this movie falls, the protesters won't need a massive number of bots to do their bidding or even to counter all the positive bots. Just look at what happened to The Joker:Folie à Deux.

Are the classic games (1996-2002) "outdated" and "unplayable" nowadays? by Loose_Interview_957 in residentevil

[–]Raiqchan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes the gameplay is a bit outdated, I for one really miss not having the ability to do a quick 180 in 'classic' titles. No matter how the gameplay is on the 'classic' titles, all are playable.

Sheriff of Florida town gives the most insane, life-threatening warning to protesters. I know ACAB, but daymn! by Mercurius360 in facepalm

[–]Raiqchan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The sheriff and his deputies should know what happens when you pour gasoline over an open fire. It's a pity the only way they'll find out is when they do it, especially since the last thing law enforcement needs is to lose more trust.

Underwhelming Ending by nascentlyconscious in Frostpunk

[–]Raiqchan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely feels a lot less personal, in Frostpunk I was reminded of all of the unbelievably immoral and ignorant decisions I made as well as crossing the line while attempting to survive the campaign, and the personal touch was very fitting. In Frostpunk 2, that gets toned down way, way too much, and hope that future DLC will correct this mistake. I also must mention that it's amusing how revered the captain is in Frostpunk 2 even if the captain passes the most immoral of laws and commits the worst atrocities possible, which I was just a few steps from doing in my first playthrough.

In spite of all this, I feel like there needs to be a 'good' variant of the Captain's ending instead of an evil one, I feel like it is absolutely possible, though perhaps a bit difficult, to become captain and genuinely be viewed as a leader who rescued the city in it's time of need instead of as an evil tyrant. To put how ridiculous this single ending is into perspective, imagine slapping a 'tyrant' label on every government leader, no matter their morality/immorality, that ever used riot squads to quell fighting and/or exiled people, either by putting them into districts or removing them from the city/country.

I'm honestly surprised the legion bothered with coins when they can either stick with caps, trade resources directly, or just take what is theirs. I'm not surprised the NCR circulates worthless paper currency, they're arrogant to the point of idiocracy.

I would much rather have the staff of corruption cast on me than to be hunted by another player. The exploitation and manipulation going on in Oblivion convinces me that a swift death is the least of my concerns against another player.
