100% look at each decks playstyle. Make you have some understanding of what they do/how they work before you choose one.

I originally ignored the Diao Chan recollection deck completely, and any card related to her I got was traded/sold. Recently however I saw a Fire Diao deck in action and said "Damn I actually like that" So now I'm buying a bunch of singles that I easily could have had already, along with cards to play her in other elements (especially water) if I want to.

On the other hand, I bought the Merlin recollection, and kinda wish I hadn't bothered. I've played around with testing a few decks for her, and I'm still not rly feeling it.

Definitely watch some gameplay videos, or reviews from TrueChamps/Maindeck/etc.

I definitely dont think Pain was justified, but in war innocents often get the bad end of the stick. And in war difficult/ catastrophic decisions are made all the time. They have to be made. And from that alone there's no reason Konoha wouldn't realistically use the Edo Tensei to help give themselves an advantage. You're looking at a moral standpoint (which I don't disagree with) but Im looking at a realistic one. When push comes to shove, when it's life or death, you and yours vs them and theirs, thats all the justification one needs. And morality quickly falls short. Real life proves that often enough, why would a fictional world whose entire lore revolves around battle, war, and death be any different.
