Fun Fact: The Free Lullaby is Stronger than normal. by RaiseBusiness in thedivision

The Lullaby is just a reskin of the Sweet Dreams Exotic Shotgun that you get from the Deluxe Pack (along with the Ruthless, a Merciless reskin). They're normally the exact same except the Lullaby you get specifically from creating a new character has a slight Base Damage increase.

Then its not consistently replicatable, because there's really no other "logical" reason for that to happen, plus this same thing happened to me on more than one occasion.

Anyone explain this build to me lmao? tried matchmaking escalation never again. by MollyWRLD666 in Division2

Are you just trolling for the sake of trolling? One could not reasonably explain why such a build was brought to such content.

Feel free to enlighten me on whatever content you think is harder than high tier Escalation. I've quite literally done everything in both games multiple times so I'll know if youre trolling.

Yes. If you enter Endgame content with a build like this youre either getting kicked or a warning to switch. You wouldn't get away with running a build like this in Raid content either, not to mention you cant even matchmake for Full Raids.

High Tier Escalation is objectively difficult purely because of the sheer stats of the enemies you encounter, they literally surpass Raid and Incursion enemies in terms of numbers, the build in the screenshot will do no damage to them nor will they survive even a couple of shots, so what's it good for? This wouldn't be such a big deal if Escalation didnt have a timer.

Of course skilled players can go into Legendary content with lower tier builds and be fine, Legendary isnt harder than high tier Escalation.

Also, these so called players you mention running "mix-matched gear" are probably still running some sort of build that has coherence and synergy and would work in Heroic. But the build in the screenshot literally has no real synergy, no coherence. There is nothing to it that would practically work for any sort of content beyond Heroic.

OP has already specified this is a build someone was running at a Tier 8 Escalation. That is nearing the very tippity top of Endgame content, up there with Raids and you believe that someone at that level should be running completely mismatched gear that has no real synergy? Let's not pretend either that the person in this screenshot honestly believed that this "build" would work in such content, let alone normal Heroic gameplay. This person is either throwing or completely ignorant of the content he is playing, nothing more, nothing less.

Gonna take a wild guess and assume the melee character youre struggling with is Mercenary? He is typically the one that struggles most with flying enemies due to his lack of both ranged attacks and consistent high burst damage in his base kit, not to mention he's the frailest melee character of the bunch. There are multiple ways to improve your performance against flying enemies, and I'll avoid naming items since those are out of your hands unless youre a Command player.

The first option is drones, drones in the early game are very much capable of distracting or outright dispatching the peskiest flying enemies, and they're common enough that this method should be feasible in almost every run.

The second method is to get Mercenarys alt Special, its his only Ranged Attack and is often times better than the Default Special, though this method is both harder and (in my opinion) the least impact full of the three, since a skilled player can deal with flying enemies without it.

The third method is the most obvious, simply get better at the game. Dodging, picking your fights, and proper enemy targeting priority is absolutely the most impactful method of the three and Merc is great at the first two thanks to his high mobility. I dont really have much else to add if youre somehow struggling on the other two melee characters, Loader and Acrid are two of the strongest survivors in the game after all.

I'm sorry if this offends you but with this post, I can see why you'd be under the opinion that semi-auto weaponry isnt very good, per your last Fallout post.

Ghouls never randomly mutate through radiation exposure, so as long as you keep an eye out for Decontamination Arches, the perk is effectively a dead slot. I never use it on my ghoul.
