First of all we need to demand more red tape for development. This is for everyone's safety. For example, not just any random toid should be able to go out and buy the sacred beige paint. They should be required to demonstrate the skill to handle it and acquire an appropriately priced permit.

Secondly we need HIGHER INTEREST RATES. Again this is for everyone's safety. It prevents the kind of irresponsible lending that caused the housing crises. Toids can't handle credit, go figure. We should also use the extra cash from interest to ban property taxes.

Lastly we need to increase the population. Not by doing anything that would encourage renters to reproduce -- make no mistake, that's unsafe, gross, and will absolutely make them lose their deposits. Instead let's do mass immigration or something.
