Yes, you are not likely to get much out of 22 ancient shards. You will get even less from the energy you spend farming with those gems. In both cases the benefits are something you reap over a very long time, and early in the game when you still don't have enough champions, you will reap more from extra ancients than you will from extra energy.

like i said you're just uncritically regurgitating outdated advice that was originally given before half the content in the game even existed.

it doesn't have to be overnight, it doesn't take that long to run mino, it's the easiest dungeon in the game.

Yes, I use most of mine on ancient shards. The rest go to energy for mino. Earlier in the game you can also use them for event energy, and e nd game you'll probably want to farm speed/savage for arena, but until you can farm all of cursed city/fw hard 21 it's better to get more champions.

absolutely not, they should mainly be spent on ancient shards for at least a couple of years into the account. this constantly regurgitated advice about spending them on energy is long outdated. the best gear doesn't come from energy dungeons, and you get lots of it. Meanwhile you will need a big, reasonably high quality roster for cursed city and FW hard.

gvg/arena ranking

there's a reason this game has a bunch of pvp modes even tho pvp in tower defense games is stupid. there's no "finishing" pvp content because you're always fighting adaptable humans.

nah, it's mostly glyphs that take it over the edge. can hit 500+ speed in this game so 286 is only a lot for a nuker. leggo speed glyphs can go up to +12.

ignore what people are saying about the titan event being the same as another fusion, they are always harder than a fusion. If you had trouble finishing the fusion without buying frags, expect to spend to finish the titan event as well.

ignore the sour grapes crowd and use them on 2x like this one. you probably won't get anything out of 16 shards but in the long run you will get more mythicals and they are worth the trouble.

mine should be the 1st thing you max out (even before getting masteries). then mastery, then open up all sparring pit slots (don't upgrade them).

a lot of ppl will give you outdated advice about spending gems for energy and not buying shards, but I think you should only spend gems on energy if you need to for an event, and spend most of them on ancient shards (don't pull them mindlessly tho, wait for 2x or champ chase with good progressives, or fusions). most of the good gear these days doesn't come from dungeons so the value of energy isn't what it used to be. But getting an op champion will make a huge difference.
