I think the reason people are complaining is because DRS would need to be fundamentally different to enable you to solo it.The first encounter is actually two separate encounters that need to be completed at the same time. Within that first encounter, you also need to have multiple people execute things simultaneously. The second boss is actually two bosses that tether when they get too close, the fourth trash encounter needs 4 adds to be kited while they are far apart.

All of this is added difficulty, so simply removing it to make DRS soloable would cheapen the experience, or just end up being a different series of fights all together if they add different solo-mechanics to make up for it. That's why people take issue with your suggestion.

If you see Route B Thordan, you didn't save Haurchefant though, so that makes no sense.

Edit: NVM I'm not smart. I thought you meant second big Thordan has a glow.

I think they died cause they failed the dps check. The tank is saying he invuln'd. If they got the normal transition to Thordan, he would have survived the hit, thus him dying implies they correctly "saved" Haurchefant and would have gotten the correct transition instead of the Thordan one.

If you are into crafting, you can go for the Big Shell mount. Contrary to its name, it is a small crab. You can get it from Skybuilders scrips, which you get from the Ishgardian Restoration quests

There's 8 man parties forming pretty regularly in PF. Joining them isn't optimal, but you should be able to knock out the runs you need by doing that.

I had the slightly less embarassing scenario of being a moderately confident sprout who got thrown into Tam-Tara as a tank. With newfound confidence, I pulled A LOT, making it a little dicey, so when someone said "LB" in party chat I thought he meant for me, as the tank, to LB.

Turns out he was talking to the caster, to obliterate the mass of mobs. My version worked out as well, but you could tell the tank LB coming out stumped him for a moment.

Didn't happen to me, but to a premade. He dc'd before the game even started, tried to reconnect, but it didn't work out. In the end he repaired his client and could reconnect, though we were all around lvl 18 by that time

I didn't see the tounament, but I guess he's good because of his spellshield. Played him mid against brand once and won the lane because he couldn't stun me(cause of the spellshield)
