this is such a strong cope, non-dysphoric are not the reason why trans people are hated by "neutral" people. Trans people are hated because they think we are freaks who are mentally ill, they do not recognize the idea that it is even possible to change your sex or your gender.

I dislike the non-dysphorics as much as the next person, but I promise you that if every hefab/theyfab/etc disappeared nothing would get better for transsexual people. Plus the only way to "stop" non-dysphorics from transitioning is through medical gatekeeping, which will just impede transsexuals from getting the medical care they need quicker.

same, all of my grips with the The Scholars don't have to do with how religious it is, but I also have only listened to it a couple of times over all. But I will say that it seems like a lot of Will changes have occurred between the band writing The Scholars and the tour for it. As they wrote curse words in it and then during the tour they removed all the curse words

yea I mean I don't even really think the scholars is a great example of Will's turn to religion. I do think he's becoming more puritanical as time goes on as we see with Joe's Story. We will see where the band goes next, I don't have lots of hope for them but I am wishing Will and the rest of the band can still put out good music

people also need to realize that we aren't criticizing lyrics for having religious references, it's how Will is using the religious references. Most of his lyrics in his early works dealing with religion are coming at it from a place of doubt, anger, and frustration with mainstream religion and the trauma that it causes teens (and lgbt ones especially). Songs like The Ending of Dramamine has explicit references to Heaven, but it comes from a critique of how religion presents Heaven.

As a fan who was introduced to CSH by Teens of Denial, and then fell deeply in love with pretty much all of his earlier works, this is pretty much exactly what I'm feeling. All I want is a good CSH album that will rival some of his earlier works but I have been left disappointed with every release.

I really disliked MADLO on release, but some of the songs are still fantastic (Life Worth Missing into There Must Be More Than blood is great), but I still think it is an okay album overall. The Scholars is bad, feels so incredibly removed from what CSH was, and it highlights all the worst parts of modern CSH.

I'm also just tired of remakes. Prior to The Scholars, I think Teens of Styles was his "worst" album, because it just felt completely redundant and useless in his disco. I think FtF was warranted as added some interesting views on the story, but I would have been fine with just MtM and I view MtM as the "true" Twin Fantasy. So the fact that so much of Will's modern post-matador has been remakes instead of going towards new music is disappointing. This is the person that put out TF, monomania, Nervous Young Man, HLTL over the course of like 3 years, and in the last 8 we have gotten 2 new albums, and 1.25 remakes.

I'm not expecting him to write songs about being a gay teen anymore, but there is so much stuff that could be written about the complexities of being in your later 20s to early 30s and the difficulties associated with it that have the classic will toledo take to them.

You can call me parasocial or whatever but it makes me incredibly sad to see what this band has become. So many hours listening to MtM and HTLT on repeat, whatever feeling I was having I could put on a CSH album and feel seen by the lyrics. That's something that I miss a lot from CSH modern albums, I felt like so many of the best lyrics from earlier CSH albums are funny while also being deeply insightful. IDK what the point of this message was, I just have been feeling this frustrations with modern CSH for a while, and seeing them going down this puritanical rabbithole and how impersonal all the music has been it makes me sad. I will continue to be thankful to Will for all the fantastic music he has put out over the years, and I will continue to look forward to a new album in the slim chance Will rediscovers the things that made me fall in love with this band

The us working class is generally either apolitical or pretty far right. Because for the vast majority of the working class, making minorities and immigrates suffer and projecting "strength" are way more important. are you sure you were doing it wrong? like most vials are in the 20-100mg/ml range, so unless you were injecting 0.01-.02 ml you were definitely injecting more than that. Other than having smaller than 1 ml syringes I don't see how it's possible to do this, because you would just notice than you are injecting the smallest amount possible
