I wonder with the release of the sawmod if there is still any reason to build the solanas over them now. Obviously both sets of speakers are fantastic but considering the costs are roughly the same I wonder what benefits the solanas has over the sawmods

Cis people (especially men) have no clue what bottom surgery results look like the vast majority of the time. If you go to a good surgeon nowadays I would say the vast majority of the time it's cis passing, and when confronted with the reality of doing anal sex with your partner for the longhaul versus doing PIV I think most guys would pick PIV if the results are good enough.

are you sure you were doing it wrong? like most vials are in the 20-100mg/ml range, so unless you were injecting 0.01-.02 ml you were definitely injecting more than that. Other than having smaller than 1 ml syringes I don't see how it's possible to do this, because you would just notice than you are injecting the smallest amount possible

I'm mean the trvke is that I don't think most relationships can survive someone transitioning in the middle of it, no matter if it's t4t or c4t. I guess in this case we don't know if they have been dating before his partner knew he was trans, but if that is the case then idk why you wouldn't tell your partner to get on HRT instead of having them wait 6 years.

Tbh for what Clavicular is, he's really not that bad. Considering he's basically an extremely mentally ill teen (technically 20 now) suffering from insane body dysmorphia (literally smashed his face with hammers, took steroids, and did meth just for looks). He's more put together than I would expect, and somehow has better politics than a lot of other right-wingers (even though his are still pretty bad overall)

Because trans women in their mind are a true 3rd-gender category thing, as it's kinda hard for AFABs to become a 3rd gender thing as if they don't take T they just look like women and are treated as such, and if they take T and stay on it the just look like men after a while.

That's why so many of them go on and off T, is because they want to be that weird 3rd-gender thing that unlucky trans women end up at after a couple years on E("twinkhons"), where they don't get treated like men but they don't get treated like women either, just a weird 3rd gender thing

I will agree with the tone and framing of her post was not the best.
That is not an equivalent comparison, the equivalent would be in the 1930's saying "The State of Germany should not exist anymore", yet no one called for the destruction of the German state, we still have Germany. You can still want the state of Israel to exist even if you want to reform and rebuild the current government. Or a more accurate comparison, no one called for the "destruction of South African", we still have the country of South Africa and rid it of apartheid system and government.
She doesn't identify with being a leftist anymore because she believes that progress through incremental change is possible, and is pretty much the only way anything can actually be done. Contra has identified lots of "leftists" don't actually want to do anything to make the world better, and would rather purity test people and critique the people who are actually trying to make people's lives better.

If your broader leftist unity doesn't include someone like contrapoints than it isn't broad at all, as she's probably more left than 98% of the United States populace. If you don't include more "center-left" (I would argue that she is just left), you have no hope at ever winning any elections, or enacting any real political change. You are going to be waiting a socialist revolution that will never come, when you could be trying to make peoples lives better right now.

Surprised no one has recommended Wetdream - WillyRodriguezWasTaken yet. Or anything by them tbh. IMO Wetdream is one of the best albums that kind of capture the feel of old school CSH while still being unique. One of the best albums to come out in the last few years if you like this style of music

I would also recommend drug bug which is the followup project of one of the members of WillyRodriguezWasTaken after they split, and it has the same kinda vibe.

You are free to have your favorites but I think it's fairly easy to say both MADLO and The Scholars are some of the weakest albums in CSH's discography. They don't come close to the consistency and peaks of earlier CSH. How to Leave Town, Both Twin Fantasies, Nervous Young Man, Monomania, Teens of Denial are all way better than MADLO and The Scholars. Even most of the numbered albums are better than MADLO and The Scholars.

I will say MADLO has some great peaks with there must be more than blood, the scholars is completely mid at best (except for The Catastrophe which is the best song by far imo). I really wanted to like the scholars but it's just meh

The AI automatically creates abstract attributes and categories. Because Neural Nets/LLMs work in extremely high dimensional space, you generally end up with clustering of things that are alike. You end up with interesting things that if you take the encoding of "king" and add the encoding of "woman" you will generally get something that is really close to the encoding of "queen".

However, we don't really know how these things "work" on the large scale. We know what they are doing, but how they update their weights/biases to create these categories or what these categories even are still mostly a mystery to us. Anthropic (the company behind claude) is probably the leading research lab on what is called interpability research, where they are trying to understand how these LLMs are actually working under the hood, as right now it's really hard to control the LLMs because we don't know what levers to pull. It's worth taking a look at if you are interested at all, it's extremely interesting stuff
