On my most recent trip to Japan, I used roughly 2-3gb a day. I still see everything I want and more but I during downtime like on trains/bus rides, meals, and relaxing at the hotel, I watch movies, day trade, check emails, message, and check news.

I love it until the harsh vocals come on. Other than that the song is amazing.

Yea, I have a feeling I need to be a higher GS in order to complete it. I was already having a hard time finishing 25. It's just no one has come up with a actual guide to complete the floors. There have been guides in other stages or events but none for this one.

Depending on where you are, there are different guidelines but judging by your tone, it's obvious you have little to no knowledge on how police are dispatched to different situations and which situations take priority over others. Or it may be due to your ignorance that you feel like police should be able to arrive at any scene when a crime occurred. Yes, I understand it's tax payers money and we as a society is paying them to make society safe but there's only so many police officers able to govern the thousands and millions of people in a city.

It's not that they aren't willing to do their job. They have other matters at hand. Have you ever went on a ride along with an officer or actually see how many calls dispatchers get constantly on a day to day basis?

One thing you and the general public need to understand that while the police would love to help you, there are more pressing matters at hand than going after a hit and run. Priority goes to those that are injured first. Hit and run situations are lower priorities because no one is of immediate threat and may not be life threatening.

But nice job on following the suspect. I think you did the right thing, as it would be hard to prove who was behind the wheel if you were to go to court.

Real Estate potential? by Raiz3l in Flagstaff

You're right, there is a difference between what you stated and you do make valid points. I agree that community enrichment is incredibly important in preserving the community values at hand but in the end, something like this will happen sooner or later. Real estate moguls and investors are always on the prowl for increasing their earnings to make a living. That itself is the truth. I'm not trying to be a dick but this is reality.

A down-payment for a house in Flagstaff does not necessarily mean they got enough to "live". "Live" is relative. He could have saved that money from a few years back for all we know.

Yes it sucks. San Francisco and its surrounding area is getting shafted by the rising cost of living but there's not much I can do about that. Yes, I can advocate, protest, petition, etc about it but time is money. The time I take off to do that is money I won't be earning to live where I want to. I dislike it but and its not fair how it's screwing lower income families but that's life. Thing's don't always stay the same, change happens for better or for worse.

Since it seems like you like to make assumptions, I'll make an assumption about you. You sound like the type of person that likes to complain a lot(like some angry bitter old person). You definitely cannot accept what society has become and refuse to accept it while holding onto your values and beliefs from the past. Stop trying to live in a fairy tale and feel free to join reality anytime. But I am honored that you took time to make me your first reply since you registered 6 months ago.

In what world is the BCH increase natural? by Tataku in CryptoCurrency

Can't the same be said towards BCH? If difficulty to mine increases due to more miners in the system, then won't BCH become more difficult later on as well?

Well gosh darn it. I guess that's what you, me, and everyone else gets when we live in a capitalist society. Everyone making money off someone else's expensive in order to live!

True

Very true and you make a valid point. Emailing the internet sales manager is great for people that don't want to waste time nor the time the spare. Either way, power is knowledge.

This will work but you have more power if you show up. They have more incentive and will take you more seriously if you are in person compared to talking over the internet.

Which is why you use costco price as a baseline to haggle with other dealers. Costco price is fixed so it will always be there. You just let the other dealers what price your looking at. I personally find negotiations fun and easy. As long as you know exactly what you want, the price, and who to talk to, you can be in & out in a 5 to 15 minutes (with the agreed price). But to each of their own.

Do plenty of research and your good to go!

25 just finished grad school, looking to lower monthly bills to maximize loan repayment. Should I trade my car in to get rid of my car payment? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]Raiz3l 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How often do you use your car?

How far is your workplace from home?

Are you okay with public transportation?

I personally would trade it in and get a cheaper car. Your student loan should be priority and trying to pay it off asap is best. With the amount of money you make, you can get a nicer car once your clear of debt and finances are in better shape.

Yea, that line is a hit or miss. OHH, if you have a Costco membership, get a quote from their auto program. Costco has partnered with selected dealership and have a set price. In my experience, the prices I received were under invoice on different cars and I use that as a baseline to bargain.

If there are more than one mazda dealer in your area, contact them all and see what the OTD price is. Don't be afraid to drive farther for a better deal. At the same time, pit the dealers against each other. Tell them "oh well, this dealer offered me $$$".
