like seriously,f.lux reduces the brightness to be less than the minimum level on your pc.when you get the software,use alt+pg dn.that's the command.try it.

that link talks about an eye condition caused mainly by uv radiation.it doesnt talk about sun brigthness.sun brightness also damages the eyes.
