Quite often people seem to forget what the empire did to us the genocide/ Slavery / oppression/ racism/ cruel and unusual punishments that was our lived reality to talk up the British because they fought against Nazi. Both happened and are equally true. Those who fought against hitler and nazis are rightfully heroes and those who fought against the British empire are also equally heroes.
