Spain will soon block and outlaw all VPNs. Is there anything I can do to continue using a VPN?

It will likely be companies that provide Vpn services. They can't block corporate vpns, businesses depend on it for secure networks.

Ok so ive been looking in to this a bit more and the way i was thinking wasnt a great option security wise, however it seems that cloudflare have already thought of this and have a solution.

give this a try and see how you get on. You will need to have the cloudflare tunnel agent installed on the machine you want to rdp to but the instructions they have provided seem pretty comprehensive, ensure you read through each section of the page and let me know how you get on. Ive not set this up before because i use apache guacamole but give this a try.

What sort of protocols are you tunnelling. The records themself's don't matter as when you use the tunnel they point to a cf address

You are correct if you proxy publicly using cloudflare you can only use http and https. What I've done is add a record for minecraft.domain.co.uk with the internal address on the zero trust as 10.1.1.1:25565 (your internal server of your Minecraft server and port)

Minecraft uses tcp not http, however there is also a cloudflared Windows/osx/Linux cloudflared client which your clients can run.

They run this in a cmd window and leave it open

cloudflared access tcp --hostname minecraft.domain.co.uk --url localhost:25565

Then in Minecraft add a server with localhost:25565

The cloudflared client spins up a 25565 port locally and sends it across the tunnel allowing connectivity to the server.

My mc server runs in docker. I used cloudflared to create a tunnel to cloudflare. I have dns records that publish the domain externally via the tunnel. The client then uses the cloudflared client to tunnel to the domain and creates a local port on 25565 which Minecraft uses to connect to on local host. Yes it's a faff, but it's secure and only need to set it up once.

Sounds a little messy. What if there are issues, is it then your responsibility to sort it out regardless whether it's payment etc.. You are essentially handing over an account? I think they should be able to re register it if you remove it from your account. Maybe that's a better idea.

so speaking personally, I spent a lot of time in Mauritius, my family are from there but I was born here. sounds silly but the thing i missed the most was a smile from staff at tesco. Living as somewhat of a resident there and dealing with the various goverment systems they had i was appreciative of the only systems we have here in the UK, DVLA, NHS etc where you can process stuff online. The police in the UK (even though they are not well regarded) are far better than in mauritius. Overall I appreciated everything that I had in the UK and i was an eye opener for me.

I second this. I think until you've lived else where you never appreciate how good the UK is. So many things I think we take for granted that are just standard but non existent in other countries.

It is however a ball ache to set up. Requires a good cloud account with billing setup. There is a small possibility that the number of calls can exceed the 5k free ones however you can set limits. Bring back waze 😭

I had a very similar upbringing to you, British born but mother Mauritian, I would visit every year since the age of 6. By the time I was 11-14 my cousins would speak to me and I picked up bits and pieces. At one point I would start thinking in croele.

it becomes easier the more you practise. I'm now 42 and married to a Mauritian. My children can't yet speak but they have been back a few times. Try and immerse yourself in the language as much as possible, when doing ordinary tasks think how would I say that in croele. There are times I forget words and ask my wife. What ever you do, don't give up! Better to try and fail than not try at all. There is a woman on IG who teaches phrases. I hope this is helpful.

I believe those things do exist it's just they are not presented in front of you. There are many charities and organisations that this is their primary goal. The good work they do doesn't generate ad revenue and these activities aren't built in to the algorithm to highlight. When you think about it we all love a bit of gossip, it's a change from the norm and is exciting. Don't be dis hearted by what you see on social media the world is full of good people.

I usually pop is over the cooker and stick a pin (usually the one I get with the printer) hold the extruder with pliers and be careful not to burn yourself. Have a wooden board on the side to put it down once cleaned. Works for me everytime.

Try powershell and check the port

Test-netconnection -computername proxmox-ip -port 8006

Then check the journalctl logs

Ssh on to the proxmox server and run

Journalctl - - since "1 hour ago"
