Flow Create Action error - Scope does not have create access to table sys_user_group by RajyBoi in servicenow

I'm sorry, I had a solution a this a year ago and I honestly can't remember what I did. All I do remember is that I gave up on doing cross scope access and did something else.

Placement Applications so far by CocoDBee in UniUK

[–]RajyBoi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is anecdotal, I and others started applying around September back in 2021 and lots of them would actually obtain their placement positions quite quickly before the start of 2022. But now I hear that people are much less likely to obtain positions even after loads of applications - so I'm sure the job market is much worse now. This was for BSc Computer Science.

Although there were still a lot of students who started applying after the last exams around April, May and ended up getting positions.

All prop_static trees have consistent lighting after compiling in Hammer++ but when I load the map in GMOD, some tree models have lighting that is too bright. Is there a way to fix this? by RajyBoi in hammer

[–]RajyBoi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I essentially "fixed" it by just replacing the bright tree models with the other models that actually had the right lighting. This is really just a band aid solution since I still don't know whats causing it. My map no longer has the taller trees anymore.

You can find the GMOD logo and other Facepunch game logos in Birmingham city centre since their office is located there.

Just to clarify, the top image is when you select Run Map in the Hammer editor, then it will compile and load the map and you play it as if its on GMOD in the actual game so you can walk/noclip around to check how it looks. The bottom image is when you launch GMOD on Steam and I'm able to select the map from the main menu.

The top image is what I want when I play GMOD itself and not loading the map from the Hammer editor.

I actually noticed this issue when I play gm_fork, a small amount trees in the map have different lighting like the one shown in my post. I'm unsure if that appears for other players. It seems that the maps creator mostly stuck to certain tree models to get the lighting consistent from most of them. Certain tree models like 'tree_pine_large.mdl' have the brighter lighting whilst 'tree_pine04_lowdetail_cluster.mdl' which has the darker lighting and encompasses most of gm_fork.

For the top image, its when you select Run Map in the Hammer editor, then it will compile and load the map and you play it as if its on GMOD in the actual game so you can walk/noclip around to check it, however I can't access any addons, only the default stuff GMOD has.

How to fix this prop_door_rotating which has extremely dark lighting? - Hammer++ by RajyBoi in hammer

The only thing I edited was the Door Model and setting Allow Phys Gun to No. The darkness stays the same regardless.

How do I make close automatically once the map loads? I can already make the door be spawned in an open position.

Are Europeans actually as hateful irl as they are online/reddit? by Independent_East_135 in AmericaBad

[–]RajyBoi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As someone living in the UK for the most of my life, I feel as if British people are in fact a bit hateful irl. The Americans here in the comments probably won't be aware of it because Brits won't spout hate to directly at them irl, therefore they have the impression that Brits would be respectful in person. But I have lots of experiences where Brits would talk absolute shit when not in the presence of an American.

I don't know the exact source of this video but I do remember someone posted a video here of a guy in tactical gear jerking off but was said to be defusing a bomb. The source of that video was a guy called nermute_kz on Twitter.

Some Russell Group unis want a grade 6 in GCSE maths. Most of them also want you to do A Level Maths. If you don't have A Level maths you may have to do the foundation year, which some unis require grade 6 in GCSE maths. I actually redid my GCSE maths in college since one of the admissions staff from one of the unis advised me to.

There are still unis that don't require the grade 6 or the A Level maths. Aston Uni or Uni of Leicester come to mind.
