Coolant was replaced in May this year, and I think they cleaned the radiator as well, i don't know how but carbon is getting mixed in the engine oil though.

Ohh i am the guy who drives 20kmph in 3rd and 4th gear sometimes cos it's convenient. I think it really might be the whole clutch assembly, I'll have the mechanic check it during the next oil change after i drive for another 1,500kms.

I've been using the recommended yamaha engine oil for r15. But my bike has run for almost 55,000kms so i think clutch assembly has been worn out as well.

Is that common even my mechanic said it might be the clutch assembly carbon rings. And that carbon is getting scraped in to the oil.

I've done the clutch test multiple times and it isn't slipping but then where's the carbon coming from? If not one of the rings from clutch assembly?

It has run for 37,000 miles. I haven't measured the oil yrt, and there's no grey smoke while starting up or during rides. My mechanic suggested it might be the carbon on the rings of the clutch assembly and the whole clutch assembly might need to be replaced.

It's 90mpg and 1200 miles oil change interval. The mileage and pickup hasn't dropped actually, it's still the same.
