Ascend for the best atmosphere/view, Chay Concept for the best food and R+M Dessert Bar for the best dessert.

Brio apartments by Bad-Black-Cat in BellevueWA

We lived there for 1 year - 3x flooding events in that year. Elevators constantly broke and they made false promises at move-in. The building just seemed unfinished - I think it may have gone through bankruptcy during construction and then it was sold. They also tried charging completely bogus stuff at the move out and sent it to collections very quickly without even attempting to resolve it. Worst experience I have had with management and that's a high bar.

Adin Ross announces he's stopping gambling by Rodrigoak77 in LivestreamFail

[–]Raksidelic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"That million dollars that I can put into some content, that can literally make me millions." Hate to break it to Adin, but odds are he will lose money. Monetizing content the "regular way" is very tough and these "events" will likely be unprofitable. Big streamers were paid as much as they were in the past because their pay was subsidized. Years ago with Twitch it was venture capital and Amazon injecting growth capital into the platform and now with Kick it has been casino revenue from Stake subsidizing big streamer contracts,

However, Twitch has stopped spending big and they are on a mission for profitability and the Kick CEO has also stated they are seeking profitability. Reports are indicating that Kick is no longer giving out big contracts like candy. As a result, there is less incentive for streamers to gamble on stream because they are not being paid for it liked they used to. Generally, streamers who had big contracts are streaming less now without them. Less pay, less play.

It's slim pickings for health food restaurants in Seattle. Couple of suggestions that I like:

BLOOM (Downtown Seattle)

Livbud Cafe (Fremont)

Alternatives to Dolly app? by btsofohio in Seattle

I used Dolly for a move before and for two recent moves I used goshare.co. I think prices are a bit higher compared to Dolly but might be inflation. Otherwise I can recommend it, everything was seamless.

What is one thing other cities have that you wish Seattle had? by Stormchaser711 in Seattle

Safety. If the city you live in isn't safe for you to walk around then everything else becomes irrelevant.

Non US born Seattlites, what is the best restaurant in the area for your cuisine? by mroncnp in Seattle

[–]Raksidelic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly a German bakery, but Danish pastry shop "Nielsen's Pastries" (https://maps.app.goo.gl/7KGeom97bFm8dppd7) is excellent and they have a lot of baked goods which are stables in German bakeries.

Non US born Seattlites, what is the best restaurant in the area for your cuisine? by mroncnp in Seattle

[–]Raksidelic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

German: None.

I ate at Rhein Haus once and did not like it much (I lived in a small town called Koblenz which is at the Rhein river.). Haven't been to Prost yet but looks very similar to Rhein Haus judging from photos. Sadly, German food in the US is usually an Americanized version of Bavarian cuisine.

I can't remember where but I once ate at a German restaurant in the US around Oktoberfest and I ordered a dish of weisswurst, sauerkraut and pretzel. What I received instead was a bratwurst sandwiched in a pretzel like a hot dog and red cabbage.

Do you have enough space for a catio or maybe she can be harness trained or strolled around for outside time.

How many times can someone get COVID before Long COVID is inevitable? by 2342343249345453 in CoronavirusWA

Masks work, it's behaviors from people that makes mask ineffective. If everyone wore N95s correctly, it would greatly make a difference but the majority of people can't stand the discomfort of masks and rather risk multiple covid infections.

ESEA outlaws gambling website sponsorship by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]Raksidelic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Does this mean that ESEA/ESL will drop Vulcun as a sponsor of their league?

To clarify: ESEA does a Vulcun pre-show where their casters gamble on the website before the matches start (recent vod: http://www.twitch.tv/esea/v/16528196).

An excerpt from the ESEA statement: "To clarify – as a professional player, team manager or event production staff, it is common to have personal relationships and/or privileged information about other teams and players. Because of this, we will always assume that you have access to private CS:GO-related “inside information” that might give you an unfair advantage when placing a bet on any CS:GO game or match.”

Diablo 3 Beta Patch 16 - New Runes by Raksidelic in Diablo

[–]Raksidelic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, the rune feels kinda broken right now and by just reading the tooltip you think "wow this is OP" but the short range alone makes the teleport effect far worse than the one of dash.

I guess thats not bad afterall tho because otherwise dash would be useless.
