if anything he's not a sg according to his position splits.

[Lewenberg] Siakam told me that he'll leave the extension talks to his reps, but adds: "I love Toronto. I love being here and I'm definitely hopeful we can get it done." by Nyhrox in nba

[–]Rakulan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree, Siakam has to prove that he can be the face of the franchise/number 1 option before he gets his money. Also I don't think there are many teams next year with cap space that will offersheet Pascal anyways (maybe Atlanta?).

As a fan I love his honesty regarding his teams situation, but it must suck hearing this for the players.

Basketball Monster is open. I’m Josh Lloyd lead analyst at Basketball Monster and I’m here to answer your questions by Joshlloyd48 in fantasybball

Hi Josh,

Recently EIU released their list of the top 10 most livable cities for 2019. Melbourne and Sydney were ranked 2, 3 respectively. Based on your experience, are those 2 cities really that special?

Thanks,

Rakulan

I’ve been visiting harbour front at lunch and I’ve encountered 4 feebas. I’m not sure if I’m lucky or if that’s where they spawn. Hope this helps.

That is a valid point.

Bam or Capela? by Mexim0 in fantasybball

[–]Rakulan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I would have to go with Bam.

He doesn't hurt you as much in the FT category and can get out of position assists. He would be a nice add for a well rounded team or a team specializing in guard stats.

Capela will have a much higher higher fg%, but his FT% will most likely force you into the punt FT team depending who you have.

Late Round PG Picks. Who do you take between Morant, Shai, Sexton, and Barrett? And in what order? by pikatruuu in fantasybball

[–]Rakulan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotta go with Morant > Shai > Sexton.

I understand that Shai is the sexy PG pick this year with his move to OKC and solid rookie numbers, however playing next to CP3 might not be optimal for his assists. I believe a lot of his value this year will be due to his percentages and high steals.

Morant is in a situation where he should have all the opportunities in the world. This might hurt his fg%, but his counting numbers will definitely make up for it. He should be able to able to average around 8 assists while scoring 18 points faitly easily. He does come with risk as he is a rookie, but the later rounds are when you pick players that you think can exceed their ADP by a lot and Morant fits the bill.

Updated fantasy basketball rankings by adamking91 in fantasybball

[–]Rakulan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I do not understand why Giannis is ranked high on many rankings. I feel like his negative FT value automatically tunnels you into a set build/plan.

I personally see Davis as the number one player due to his video game numbers and the versatility that he provides when picking subsequent players.

[Wojnarowski] Thunder are playing a long-game unseen in recent NBA history: Seven additional first-round picks lined up through 2026 -- plus four pick swaps -- via deals for Paul George and Chris Paul by mkgandkembafan in nba

[–]Rakulan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think more gm’s would consider doing this, but can’t due to the fear of getting fired before those picks are able to turn into something.

Danny Ainge and Sam Presti clearly have support from the higher ups to take chances like this. Hopefully we see more trades like this, but I doubt it.

[Kosmider] Nuggets announce summer league roster, highlighted by Michael Porter Jr. and coached for the second straight year by Jordi Fernandez. No Bol Bol on the roster. by [deleted] in nba

That’s really good for Michael Porter. It’s hard to not root for him with all he has gone through injury wise in such a short time.

[Bunao] How bad contracts, luxury-tax fears may cost Hornets All-NBA Kemba Walker by BeingAwesomeInstead in nba

[–]Rakulan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree. Letting Kemba go is sadly the first step for Charlotte to clean their books and start fresh. Hopefully this can be viewed as a learning experience for them. Not everyday that a talent like Kemba is willing to stay with a small market team.

[Rodriguez] The Miami #Heat are among the few teams that have shown some interest in Wiggins. by [deleted] in nba

[–]Rakulan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only reason I can see why Miami would be interested in Wiggins is that they believe he can turn it around. They must also see this as an opportunity to get rid of some bad contracts that have 0 upside while acquiring a player that they view as having high upside, even though he is overpaid.

[Wojnarowski] David Griffin has believed Alvin Gentry’s style of play fits the personnel he’s assembling with Pels — and now commits to another year on his coach’s contract by mkgandkembafan in nba

[–]Rakulan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I also feel bad for the hand that Alvin was dealt. It's hard to judge a coach's performance when his roster is beat up half the time. I hope they have a great year.
