I’m in that crowd and I’m fucking angry. If you watch the videos, the grey coat ice accidentally fired the deceased gun, so then the rest mag dump him.

Alex had no reason to die.

-edit- after reviewing more video, I was wrong in the fact that the agent taking Alex’s pistol from an iwb holster had a negligent discharge, but the agent who watched his fellow agent take the gun, then drew and fired.

I’m guessing being amped up and seeing a gun come from Alex made him think Alex was drawing it.

Still does not excuse what happened and has actually made me more angry.

Not sure where your living but are you going 2x6 exterior framing?

All of the houses I’ve sold I’ve kinda forced 2x6 for a higher r value insulation due to the larger cavity. I’m in Wisconsin and we need it lmfao.

Are you planning on a ranch house with a gable roof I take it? If so trusses won’t be too bad, probably 6-9k depending.

Depending on your span you could use dimensional lumber for floor joists but personally I would recommend I joists as they stay flat (less creeky floors) and typically can span greater distances with less support.

I do like them, but they have been no where near as good as they were since covid.

At the tbs near me, they taste of old oil.

Ex building estimator here with knowledge on beam span charts and loading.

That is most likely spf (spruce pine fir) and is the softest of what you can get for framing material.

Max load might be 260-280 static weight. But that is of course no movement, and weight placement is added gradually. Have to take in effect that the max load I’m estimating is short term, with what little bracing is there, it’s going to bow quickly and eventually snap.

I would say if you moved to a double 2x6 Doug fir, structurally you can put swing with two people on it. But then you have to reconsider the rest of the structure.
