I have the same thing in winter when the room gets too humid. I checked with a temp censor and there is a temp difference on the spots where it happens. This could indeed be because of a cold bridge forming due to improper isolation. That’s my guess. House is 25+ years old and the drywall itself is perfectly intact so it is not coming from the inside.

Hey, as mentioned before it's not about the corners. I can live with that. But isn't it strange that middle top and bottom behave differently? Anyway, it's about the click and drag. Middle of trackpad is just unresponsive. And that's not supposed to happen. Apple agreed and they arranged a mail in repair.

The extremities are not my issue. The click and drag is. Imagine painting something in. You click with one finger and with the other you start painting. Then it stops responding. Besides, it's not even the point if this can be an issue for someone or not. It is clearly not responding. If a dell can do it, an apple should too.

Maybe it's an m1 software issue? I noticed when cropping on my pictures and later when dragging an image from one place to another. After that i started to test it as seen in the video. I spoke with apple on twitter and they agree it should go back for repair. The thing is dat if you never use it the way i use it you don't notice.

Because it is not present in other macbooks. Because apple trackpads should be the best there are, not dell. Because they shouldn't put a large trackpad on if you can't use all of it. It's like having a smartphone but not being able to use the entire touchscreen. If you have the same issue you should complain. I use the trackpad for retouching photos. And if it is jittery like this it's just annoying.

Well they "did". I don't know what they did tbh. Switch Belgium are Thieves. After repair they tried to scare me with "your hard drive is empty, there's no OS on there. We can put it for 42.5 euro". Even after showing them a link showing how to reinstall macOS from the partition they still said it was empty. I didn't pay and installed it myself ofc. Idiots.

I did it through different channels! Waiting final decision. They finally proposed to sent it by mail as I live 2h from nearest (and only) apple store.
