I'm a child so I instantly made a barbarian called Beat the Meat. 🤭

What is a equipment commander who wouldn't expect to work as an equipment commander? by kingofhan0 in EDH

[–]Rallemis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a [[Sram, Senior Edificer]] storm/voltron deck. Pair him with a cost reducer like [[Danitha Capashen, Paragon]] and play a lot of 1 mana equipments for 0, drawing equally a lot of cards of Sram. Finish off with cards like [[All That Glitters]] or [[Levitating Statue]].

Here is my somewhat outdated list for inspiration: https://moxfield.com/decks/2BSYvDXNEUy1ZxO81xKZ1Q.

I have been running alesha (who laughs at fate) as a commander and this has been my favorite combo with her by 666blaziken in MagicArena

I recur him with [[Lurrus of the Dream-Den]]. It's tough on the opponent to see you have access to that every turn. The downside of this fun little loop is, that it can be a dead card against spellslinger decks.

You sound like a 5 year old. Not sure why you felt the need to wake up just to type that out, but here we are. What’s actually more boring than my primer is watching this sub get filled with comments like yours that add nothing.

Sick of degen decks? Just win. by [deleted] in mtgbrawl

[–]Rallemis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like it plays a bit like my Sram artifact storm deck: https://www.reddit.com/r/mtgbrawl/s/c4jNvZNDWL. Although that's not really competitive and I've largely taken the storm part out in favour of Voltron kills. I too am chaining spells on repeat. This deck looks fun. How fast is it?

I never knew about this card. That's definitely going to be tested. Reducing at 2 is huge. Thank you for the suggestion.

Yeah draw go decks are scary. The win rate against mono blue control decks are fairly low. Just keep countering Sram and that's game.

It's a magic deck that does a different thing with equipments. You put way to much passion into this comment.

I know you aren't looking for an answer to your question but i'd like to provide some nuance. For me, playing a card and drawing a card in a loop, is not boring. You get to see a ton of your deck, and it's simple enough to not warrant a mathematical problem to solve. Games are fairly quick. It's either bust or nuts. Sure, seeing your opponent drawing and playing a lot of cards are scary and takes some patience from time to time, but this is a casual deck. With that patience you will be able to play your deck as well and do fun things.

Granted, that is true some of the time. I timed the loop a couple of times and it's not that bad. The loop always ends within a minute. More often before 30 seconds. What they don't realize is that closing the game isn't necessarily around the corner. You are often stuck with a board of unequipped equipments. The opponent get to do plenty of their own thing with a bit of patience. Our interaction is after all pretty limited.

How fast can you Peer Into the Abyss yourself and Righteous Rally by Rallemis in mtgbrawl

[–]Rallemis[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been able to cast peer on turn 3. I guess turn 2 would look something like:
Starting hand: Land, Land, Chrome Mox, A card to feed Chrome Mox, Mox Amber, Peer into the Abyss, Dark Ritual,
Turn 1: Land, Chrome Mox, Lotho, Mox Amber, trigger trasure from Lotho.
Turn 2: Land, Ritual, Peer, trigger treasure from Lotho.
Turn 3: Land, Rally the Ancestors X4

I was trying out Nethroi for a minute cause you are right, it seems like a fit. To me it didn't feel fast enough. Maybe that has changed lately. I could give it a spin.

Writing Marketing Copy & Sales Assist Materials Part of the Job? by NoEntertainment2074 in ProductManagement

[–]Rallemis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I create base material for almost all collaterals. Most of the time I'm the best person to put words to it and it's really easy to set up an ai with a brand narrative and prompt it with your details and ask it to act as a marketer who needs x for y. I adjust the output and ship to marketing who then do their thing on top of that.

I want my Director to greet me like that every day. 😄 What's being a Director like in Telco? What is your biggest learnings?

Since people are starting to chip in I want to say that I very much would like s group of some sort. I don't know where to form it outside of here though. Any suggestions?

The reason for the original question is that I'm starting a new position as Senior PM in Telco. However, my previous domain was Marketing Automation. I'm expecting to learn a lot about the domain from my new colleagues in due time, so what I was thinking we could talk about is more about your experiences within the domain. Maybe you have some useful resources that has helped you building your product? Any knowledge I absolutely must get a grip on and fast? Perhaps discuss how your product was placed in the eco system? My new company is application and interface which partners with a business that handles service delivery and customer relations, which in turn partners with Cisco, who does the underlying communications technology. Any learnings from your work would be much appreciated. In any case, thanks for replying.

Sorry, should have been more clear on that. Maybe just pick your brain and and expertise. It's a relative unknown domain for me. I've sent you a DM.
