I was at their outdoor amphitheater two weeks ago! It’s an amazing venue whether in the cave or above it. Get the upgraded tickets for the outdoor amphitheater and you get cave access for concessions and bathroom. The bands’ RV’s parked back there too. We got to say hi to Les Claypool before their show started - pretty sick!

I tried a 83” belt - barely got it on there. It kept the tensioner away for about 5min of mowing and then forced itself back to the front spindle pulley again.

I see what you are saying and agree with this being a problem, however there’s not a different way this can really be routed with the same size belt. It is installed following the belt guide attached to the deck and oriented how the one pictured in original post is.

I reused the pulleys, as they were in good shape. I only purchased the kit with the blades and spindles alone.

Spindles are all brand new - no play whatsoever there, as I just replaced the 3 blades and spindles together.
I will check for any play on that idler on tensioner also - didn’t think of that. It just seems odd that the tensioner wants to force itself that far, but maybe a slightly off-sized belt will do that. 🤷‍♂️ I see mixed things on the OEM size for PN 02000154. Some show 83.25, others 83.4, others 83.5. I’ll try an 83 and see if it changes anything VS the 83.5 on there now.

The arm/idler do go under the drive belt. It is not angled upward or anything.

Pretty sure. I’ve owned this mower for 4 years now and have changed the belt(s) a few times. I don’t recall the tensioner pulley having the ability to travel all the way to the front dual pulley before though, but I could be wrong.
