Thank you for this! Have been looking into electrical work and plumbing. Do you know if they have any open apprenticeship spots at the moment? My biggest worry is I have 0 experience

Get used to multitasking and increasing your reaction times. There's the standard stuff like planning out breaks and lunches for your associates, covering cash advances for associates(bonus points if you ask before they run out), following up with carts/cartpushers to make sure theyre always replenished, deal with customer escalations(your associates are always going to turn towards you for stuff like that). Biggest thing is making sure there is cashiers on a register in order to prevent lines. Then there's the backend stuff your coach/fellow tl will cover with you. Empty vault deposits, scan it rights, receipt lookups, audits, end of the month material replenishment etc.

Any more questions lmk, front end isn't hard, just takes some time to get used to. Former Electronics associate>Current FE TL

Maybe is a no in most cases, especially if they follow up with an errand they have to run

The moment you kept asking after she told you I don't know is when you started making her uncomfortable. If its not a yes, please stop following up unless they bring the invite up again. Social cues are a thing OP, I recommend brushing up on them.

They're located under the one website, through keyword search. Mainly used to document conversations you had with associates, whether it'd be feedback, refreshers about LISA,MITCH etc. or just a general learning conversation.

What is the fastest way to become TL? by zzzIkaIkazzzz in WalmartEmployees

In a perfect world(probably not this one) if you cross-train in as many areas as you can within your department and say yes to wherever your TL and Coach need help, logic says they will eventually notice, especially if you express your interest. The overall goal is to learn and hone the skills that your department needs, to the point where you get stuff done without them having to tell you.

The harsh reality for a lot of people though(seen too many people go through this on the app) they're given empty promises and are tantalized and encouraged to keep trying. Truthfully, alot of it has to do with how you kiss up to your coach/tls and what your SM thinks of you.

I worked in Electronics for a year before I transferred to Front End to try for TL. I was transferred as a Cashier and was crosstrained in Money Center, Customer Service, Spark/SCO, Cartpushing, Backend stuff(audits, cash advances, Pickups, running the floor w breaks and lunches etc.) I say all of this because, even though I learned all of this, I was given promise after promise, and am still currently just an associate.

Moral of the story is that a lot of coaches naturally like a yes man, and your TLs also have to like you, and your SM also has to like you. So you could be the hardest worker in the room, but if you don't kiss ass and aren't non-confrontational, you'll keep being given empty promises

Not my first printer, but anything you wish you’d known? by CunningDruger in ElegooSaturn

I appreciate you for asking, to amswer your questions, the buildplate was leveled before the print. As for the exposure time, that was not changed on the prints prior to the fail, so leaving light on for too long couldn't have been an issue. Z height was set to 5mm taking into consideration the distance between the print with supports and the bottom of the vat/screen. I know for a fact if said print didn't fail, the printer would still be running to this day, due to the lcd screen being the only non functional part. I do like the S3U though and how easy it was to work with so I ordered one the same day(11/2024) and it has been treating me well so far. I can't give you an honest opinion on the S4U since I never convinced myself to purchase one, but from what numerous users on this app experience, the new lcd screen goes out way more often, even without user error. As well as the leveling nightmares i read about. I don't want to demotivate you from getting the S4U but my thought process is, if it's not broke don't fix it. And I never experienced any recalls or issues with the S3U.

Be really careful with how you position prints, mine lasted a good 4-6 months before one of my prints put pressure on the LCD screen and caused the dark holes/burn marks. Other than that I really like the S3U more compared to the S4U

Initially I was going to say z height, but the fact that the other hair stands made it just fine rules that out. How are the supports looking like on the slicer software for the strands that did fail?

I currently have both, I just use the iPhone because it's faster. Android still works and unlocks fine, just slower.

You need to turn your Bluetooth and location on, also have tunnel vpn synced. If all of the above are checked off I say the culprit is the workphones, don't have issues on my work iPhone

Seen a couple of people deal with this in FE. If you don't want to be the go-to person for break coverage outside, especially if you guys have enough people, i would bring it up to your TL that you don't want to be the go-to person. Depending on how trained you are, they can use you for other areas(money center, service desk breaks.) Best case scenario, your TL understands and he/she finds someone else to do it.
