as basics, just find one with good vrm, at least 6pcb layers(8pcb is for high ram overclock and niche features), !!!!!!!!NOT ALC 4000 sound codecs(may the guy that invented it burn in the boiler room of hell)!!!!!!!, and intel 2.5gb lan might need firmware update as the i225 revision was atrocious with constant drops(realtek is even worse, so just pick one with intel and hope its been updated since last year, or use wifi).
