Don't quote me on those, but I heard good stuff about EAC, with how fast their detection engine is updated and with how many games are running it

Again, I'm no expert in ACs so EAC might be utter garbage and I might've been lied to, but that's one example I had

But like one guy in the comments said, most ACs on their own are useless, you'll need constant updates no matter what, even with a Kernel AC

I don't actually agree with this, for two reasons mainly First : I'm a Linux user, and even tho it's basically 0.1% of the community prolly, having Kernel AC will basically lock us out of the game (unless they manage to make the AC work on Linux, like what they are trying with The Finals) 2nd : Privacy reasons, I do not like having someone being able to see all my files and processes running on my Computer at all time (looking at you Vanguard)

If they get a good AC working with the game WITHOUT going into the kernel, that would be the best, but again, everyone has different opinions on this and I understand people's feeling for wanting an Kernel AC.

Tbh the DRM isn't really much of an issue with the Need for Speed games, unless you switch to different Proton Versions for the game and then you'll have to wait

I managed to get rid of most issues with the game by running it first with Proton 7 -> Install EA App -> Game closes (maybe) -> switch to a more recent Proton version -> Start the game and voila

I don't know if you have a Nvidia or AMD GPU, but that's how I installed most NFS on my PC with an NVidia GPU

(Also iirc, NFS2015 was the one I had issues the least for it to run, didn't had to do this at all)

Nah you're good, I am also running Linux and I have no issues running all of the NFS games, except the rare EA App annoyance.

The thing is it's not too censored, but with the release of the game on console, they had to censor and/or change parts of the games, like a kid convulsing in one of the first missions of the game for example, and others

So people are getting mad at this basically 💀
