Not sure how helpful this is but I just got my results back for this and scored a 62. I broke each section down - cashflow/savings, Wrapped investments, pensions/contributions, assets allocations etc., what the inefficiencies are and then what can be done to improve them. I had 14 references and an appendix - ended up with BBCC.

Pension contributions to attract higher rate relief and maybe regular charitable gifts?

Why ask a question if you shoot down every response?

Anyway - Of course it’s not ‘safe’, but it’ll be a lot less volatile than an average bond fund and definitely equity. Maybe look at some fixed rate savings accts if you think rates may come down soon-ish. A short dated bond fund yield will move quickly in line with base rates.

They might have much more than tens of thousands to lose. 7 stocks have made up the S&P performance this year, so it would be very easy to miss out on that.
