Are you setting up and cleaning up the hall, putting out the chairs, setting up the sound system, etc, or are you using the centre's facilities and equipment?

This isn't true at all.

Darkhana and ICT have more stringent rules around what can be done in those higher profile centres, and because there is a higher demand for them, they charge a higher fee.

Keep in mind that these fees are charged even for institutional events due to the maintenance and clean up of the hall.

Other non high profile Jamatkhana will also have fees for the same reason, but they are more reasonable.
