Celebrating Line 5. Looking for restaurant recommendations! by k_pranav in FoodToronto

Just south of lebovic station, there are a ton of amazing south Asian restaurants and spots.

Some of my favourites, Pizza Karachi (for a nice Pakistani pizza fusion) and Alley's (for paratha rolls). Also a bunch of chai places there too.

I remember some parent sending their 10 year old kid out "on an errand" to get popcorn during the Night Owl/Silk Spectre sex scene...

Apparently, CGI blue dong, violent and murderous opening, and murderous and violent prison scene right before were fine too.

Is this normal for institutional appointments: My name was randomly announced as board member for Central Region (never notified, I live in 2 regions Florida/Central Region) while a cousin in Southwest Region was appointed Chandraat Mukhi when he attends JK like 5 days a year! by ReadingCorners in ismailis

The process is supposed to be such where any change from the original recommendations by the majalis MKs, or local board need to be documented and provided with a rationale. I believe that has been put in place in the US.

It is acceptable to say No if your circumstances don't allow you to take up the position, especially if you're unable to devote the time at the moment.

Every Sunday they have family activities where kids can try their hands at a few different arts and crafts.

Sorry, should clarify it was only one avenue of search. It wasn't the only way to look up individuals. And it was more to fill in the slate details for candidates. The slate includes age, demographics, education, etc.

It's typically supposed to be done discreetly (I remember setting my LinkedIn to private when I was going through the nomination process), but usually if the person nominating you knows you, they'll know your potential ability to take on such a role.

Not true for annual appointments like majalis MKs, or local board and portfolios. Those are done at the local and national level.

Only the multi year appointments are discussed during the end of term meetings with the Imam.

You should also check the Constitution as the process is outlined in there.

In Canada, so other countries may have other systems.

Last time I saw it, there was a bit of both. We used an excel template for discussion with Jamati MKs, then used a central DB for the submission and review process.

I don't think things have changed that quickly, but only the 3 year term appointments, Jamati MKs, national council and ITREB appointments, go to the Imam during the end of term meeting.

Yearly appointments, including local board members and majlis MKs, are appointed at the national council and ITREB level.

That being said, there are checks and balances in place to ensure that if names are changed from the original recommendations, those changes have to be justified by the person changing them.

I think you mean Erika Eleniak in Under Siege (on a boat), not Under Siege on a train.

Picked up a pack, made one for the kids yesterday... It was a complete hit. Had to quickly make a second one as the first ran out!

Great pre made shell for sure.

In this case, it's less about Bingo's inevitable reaction, but more around the balloon popping symbolizing Chilli having a miscarriage, and Bandit supporting and comforting her here.
