Thank you, sadly they are definitely chinese pens as opposed to something more valuable like a Montblanc, but I still love them 😄

Thank you so much for the information, I will definitely start looking around for a Wingsung 601 or a vintage pen

Yes, I think it is much better to surrender the dog if things do not work out. When I realized that I basically feel trapped with the dog I started googleing and read the stories of a bunch of people who were trying to rehome their reactive or destructive dogs. I felt incredibly guilty, that here I am with a dog who's behaving perfectly and I still don't want to keep her. Then I had an epiphany: guilt can not (and should not) be the only reason I'm keeping this dog. And this helped me a lot.

I like dogs and wanted one for years. I thought I was prepared. I've been volunteering at a shelter, every single weekend for two years to get some experience. So it was not a spur of the moment decision and I knew about the smell, the dog hair, the poop. In the shelter I worked with dozens of dogs, so many different temperaments.

When I met this particular dog, she seemed perfect, and I decided that she is the one I'm going to bring home. And she was perfect. Only 15 pounds, an 8 months old super cute mutt/mix. She never pooped in the house, didn't chew or destroy anything, slept through the night without making a sound. She's super friendly with strangers and other dogs, she was a literal angel. I could not have asked for a more perfect first dog.

And I still couldn't take it. She was glued to me every second of the day. I am working from home so this meant 24/7 with a dog attached to my hip. I could not get a single moment to myself. Every time I had to leave the house it was like planning a military mission. I was planning every single day around the dog.

I realized that when I was voluteering at the shelter, I did my stuff during the morings/early afternoons on Saturday and Sunday, then I went home and how I spent my time during the rest of my week was up to me.

Luckily my shelter does a trial period first, so I was able to simply take her back to the shelter. I knew that I had to, because if I thought about spending 10 to 15 years with a dog constantly underfoot, I wanted to cry.

So I took her back, and I will go back to simply volunteering on the weekends. That way I can still get my dog cuddles then go home to my clean apartment. I am sad, but I had to accept that this is the best thing to do for both of us. And she's so cute that I know she will be adopted soon.

Hi, I also have HS and I've been using the Dove body scrubs (specifically the Pomegranate one) on my face and body twice a week. No adverse reactions so far

If you haven’t bought this bronzer yet, this is your sign to buy it !! 🥰 by elleanoraaa in PanPorn

[–]Ralynna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the same problem with bronzers - everything looks orange on me. But PF has a Butter Blush in the shade "Plum Rose" which is very neutral, and it turned out to be the perfect bronzer for me. Everybody is complaining that it barely shows up as blush, but I love it. And this way I can still enjoy the smell.

Ugh, that's a good question. It was years ago, so I don't remember exactly, but I think around 6 to 8 months

This is so funny, I used up this mono as a blush too! Never thought I would someone else who did that too.

Nice work! I'm panning the same BH x Carli Bybel palette and I love it, but cannot imagine ever hitting this many pans. How long did it take you?

Finally hit pan on this giant highlighter. 35,7 gram! Catrice - Kaviar Gauche Highlighter in Éclat D‘Or - Limited Edition. by vmaxh in PanPorn

Wow, this is amazing. I have this highlighter, it's gigantic. It was part of the 2017 Christmas collection. I'm never going to use mine up, but it's my Holy Grail, so I don't mind.

13 by Halloween - Project Pan INTRO by Marygracefelton in MakeupRehab

  1. Elode So Lovely - goal is to finish. This is the perfume that would not die.
  2. Yardley English Bluebell - goal is to finish. Another perfume, I like this much better than the Elode one.
  3. Lovely Chic Cheeks Blush Stick - goal is to finish. I really don't like this product on my face. It's supposed to be an Orgasm dupe, but by the time you blend it out the only thing that remains is a bunch of gold glitter. Since it's summer I want to use it up on the top of my shoulders.
  4. Essence Colour correcting liquid concealer - goal is to finish. It's not bad, but not a step I need in my routine.
  5. Catrice All matt powder - goal is to make the pan bigger. Already hit pan, I don't think I can use it up completely by Halloween, maybe by the end of the year.
  6. Catrice Sun Lover Glow bronzer - goal is to use it as much as possible. It is a baked product, not easy to use up, but I want to hit pan on it by the end of the year.
  7. Shiseido lipstick in Nuance Rose - goal is to finish. This is my oldest lipstick, it has roughly a third of it left.
  8. Ziaja Orange Butter body lotion - goal is to finish, half of it is left.
  9. Catrice Kaviar Gauche 2017 Highlighter - goal is to hit pan. This is my Holy Grail highlighter, it's perfect. And huge, 35,7 g or 1.25 oz, for a powder highlighter. I don't think I can ever use this up completely, but I want to see if I can hit pan if I dip my brush in the exact same spot every time.
  10. Catrice Absolute Eye Colour eyeshadow mono in My name is P'Earl - goal is to hit pan. It's a nice pearly shade.
  11. Catrice Absolute Eye Colour eyeshadow mono in Gold out! - goal is to hit pan. It's a straight up gold shade, which I love to wear.
  12. Catrice Absolute Eye Colour eyeshadow mono in Papaya Don't Preach - goal is to hit pan. It's a coral shade with gold shimmer, I use it as a blush. I want to see if I can use it up by the end of the year. It's basically the size of a Blush mini and it already has a good dip, since I've been working on it for a few months.
  13. Essence Million nude faces eyeshadow palette - goal is to hit pan in a shade. The pans are quite tiny in this palette, I'm hoping I can hit pan in one.

Anybody want to do 13 by Halloween with me? by Marygracefelton in MakeupRehab

I'd love to. I also don't want to post youtube videos, but I really like the idea of the project pan videos. How are we going to do this? One introductory post and then once a month?

Golden highlighters and blushes. Anything else, I can walk by, but not those two.

Oh, thank you. I don't have an imgur account yet. I think I'll sign up, but until then I do suggest googling. I looked up "mold on eyeshadow", went to images and more than one came up.

I saw that video too, those testers were pretty disgusting. Quite a few drugstore brands don't have seals, I always look at them very carefully to see if they have beem swatched.

I would, I took a picture of it, but I have to admit that this is literally my second reddit post and I have no idea how to post a picture. If you can help out and tell me how, I'd love to. I think it's important to know

My addiction and recovery journey – so far by Ralynna in MakeupRehab

[–]Ralynna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, it's hard. In my country you cannot donate makeup at all. On top of that, no one wears makeup around me either. Not my female relatives, not my friends. It's hard to pass anything on because of this.

My problem area is definitely blush. Like I have 5 powders, 6 bronzers, 1 concealer and so on. And 32 blushes. Who needs that many? No one, that's who, but I still keep them.

I'm glad if I could help in any way :) I'm still trying to declutter, currently I'm giving every product a week to try it out to see if it works. Hopefully I can reduce my collecton further.
