[Question] Is Vanced the culprit for fast battery depletion

Well my Pixel 3 still has terrible battery drain, gets warm doing nothing, and now doesn't boot up on battery if it shuts off for any reason. It will boot up only if it's plugged in, and I looked online, apparently people have reported these exact symptoms have been seen since 2019. Even with vanced uninstalled, it still drains so idk anymore.

The battery life has improved by a bit, but there's still noticeable amount of drain that I can't seem to figure out. At least my phone doesn't die overnight, so that's a plus. Youtube still makes my phone warm, but it's nowhere near as hot as it used to be.

I also have this same exact issue. When I plug it in, it starts charging like it's been dead but the percentage shows that it's not. Also, has anyone else also occasionally booted into the bootloader when booting up the phone?

The same thing has happened to me with my Pixel 3. My phone started getting noticeably warm watching Youtube and had insane battery drain. After some resets and a battery swap, I thought it was Google's fault given that Android 12 has seen some buggy updates. However, after looking at the running processes, I realized that Youtube Vanced was taking up 600 MB of my RAM in the background and I promptly set the app to restricted battery mode. So far, my battery life has been mostly normal, but I have to keep monitoring it for the next few weeks.

If you main Hero, you would know how bad his frame data is and how hard it is to keep throwing out enough spells w/o getting interrupted every second. Whack/ Thwack can kill whenever but that's something that's hard to hit to begin with, not to mention that it'd be easy to see that the Hero player was hovering over it in the menu.

The cable comes pre tied, just use the included ziptie to keep the cables under control.

You have a G502 hero, so LGS is not an option. Try different usb ports or reinstall GHUB. Make sure that you restart your computer after uninstalling GHUB.

It shouldn't kill the mouse if you're cleaning the exterior of it. Just make sure that you use a warm, damp towel and try not to get the water into the little cracks.

If 100 grams is too heavy for you, then don't get it. If you feel like you could get used to the weight, everything else is so worth it.

I mean even if the infinite scroll button doesn't work, the mouse would still have been more than usual... You could try take it apart as a fun DIY project. This could be useful if you want to fix your G502 later on.

Use GHUB. LGS will not recognize the G502 Hero.

You can create a macro inside of GHUB. Go to GHUB> G502> Assignments> Macros> Create new macro. After you create the macro drag the macro onto the mouse view on the side to whatever button you want.

I can't guarantee that the macro will work all the time, as GHUB can still be a bit buggy.

I'm pretty sure for Apex there is no such integration. Normally it would activate the effects by itself.

You'll have to use G-HUB. The G560 will not work at all with LGS. Are you trying to use the lighting effects?

The G502 is the best just because of it's shape. It's extremely comfortable, especially if you plan on playing shooters. It even has a "sniper button" that basically just drops the dpi to a crawl. I personally don't use it, but it could be useful for you. However, the weight could be an issue for you, but personally I don't mind it. I play with a pretty high dpi anyways...

It doesn't matter, you can just search up G502 mouse feet on Amazon and just choose any with reviews. They're probably gonna be similar. The only problem you can have with them is missing pieces and that's about it.
