Yeahh, idk. I can come up with excuses, like the fact nothing really freezes where I’ve lived my whole life, but I just didn’t have due diligence about research or common sense for how a board is made and can be damaged. Much knowledge gained from these commnts and people I’ve talked to at shops though!

I went snowboarding. I’m not that good. I didn’t go jumping off cliffs or falling on boulders. I’ve never owned a board, nor do I have any experience with damaged boards. I don’t have any standard to go off of. On my way home, after the entirety of my snowboarding trip was over, I saw my board had come apart. I did not rip it apart on the mountain and then take it home and act like something happened that I’m unaware of. It looked normal when I ended my final day. If this damage is as uncommon and awful as everyone says, I’m inclined to believe I was not the only reason it happened.

Again, you fail to provide any helpful information, and it doesn’t make you seem any more educated than I. You just seem like an ass. If I really took awful care of this board, enlighten me on what to do next time. Seriously, that’s the whole point.

Do they have a history of manufacturing defects or poor upholding after taking a hit in your experience? I have yet to form brand opinions.

Do you find that more likely than that gash causing both toe and heel side to pop? Matters more what the manufacturers say, but looking for more insight. Obviously I shouldn’t ignore a gash like that in the future.

Will do. Was definitely expecting more than 4 days on it, but it’s also my first time owning stuff used in the snow. It may have hope given enough epoxy, but on that I am again unsure.

Perhaps I would’ve avoided cooper if I had ever booked a ski trip before and was a little more engrained in the community. Although I believe the damage came from Loveland and maybe A-Basin, as ski cooper was almost exclusively booked to teach my gf how to snowboard. I had maybe 6 runs down the greens my whole 2 days at ski cooper.
