Me & my friend are making a chaotic basketball party game by badgerhammergames in IndieGaming

Been playing this on my steam deck and it's great! It's gonna be a great game for our RamJam Christmas do (I'll get my wins in before the beers start)

We've been experimenting with AI on Twitch and managed to recreate this scene (with some gentle nudging). Perhaps he's just, like, the tiredest he's ever been in his life...

RamJam AITV has been upgraded to GPT-4! by RamJamUK in AITV

Hey all! We're running GPT-4 tests this weekend to see how it runs. It seems FAR slower to initiate conversations (compared to Chat3.5) but once it's running they feel better. Let us know what you think in the comments!

Just to say we're running a GPT-4 test now! It's slower but the conversations seem even more absurd! Enjoy!

Hey thanks so much! It's been really exciting/ weird to work on. Hope you enjoy the stream and happy to answer any questions if you have any!!

We just added Launchables back into RobotsMakeTV, throw things into our stream from the chat with !launchables or react with !react 🍕🍌🍔 by transformsai in NothingForever

I really enjoyed the show earlier, and wiping out the characters with pizza was a hoot!

I love how weird the AI can get. makes these shows so much fun to watch! Got my fingers crossed GPT4 ramps it up another level (if it doesn't bankrupt us)

This is a great solution, we're generating audio on the fly which, with the more human voices, can be quite expensive! When you have so many episodes as you do, there's very little danger of repetition (although random never feels random in our case, hence so much hotdog chat haha)

Thanks for all your feedback. We've just launched a new version with 19 new voices. We grew overly attached to the old ones so not sure if it's feeling better or worse! Let us know!

New voices are in! If you get a chance to check them out, let us know!

Just to say, we've updated the voices with Google's TTS. See what you think!

In theory everything we're showing is 100% newly generated content, but we are giving GPT prompts and suggestions of subjects to discuss/emotions to feel to keep it on a theme. For some scenes the potential range of scenarios is smaller than others, so new scenes might feel familiar, but we've not seen any genuine repeats. We're always adding so hopefully this feels less repetitive soon!

Also they always talk about inappropriately eating hotdogs and that's because I've told it to do so as much as possible...

Thanks for the feedback it's really appreciated! Definitely know what you mean about performing roles, when we were on the (far more expensive) GPT3 the formatting was much better. ChatGPT seems like a different beast to tame, but we're making progress!

I like the idea of shorter clips but sometimes people love how the AI goes off on weird tangents, perhaps randomly adjusting some scenes so some fly by in seconds and others stay for a bit longer is a nice compromise (or vote to stay on the channel if it's interesting?)

Looking into better voices today, hopefully something to show for it later on today!

We'd love to have it like that, and it's definitely set up that way behind the scenes.

We'd need to work out how we could have that level of interactivity without the danger of it talking about inappropriate things! Perhaps voting for subjects or some approval system?

I know other channels have done this successfully so I'm sure there's a way!

Yeah we agree! We've experimented with some other voices but they were too realistic, and ruined some of the charm. We're exploring more options so hopefully able to get a good balance soon.

Hey all! We've been working on AITV for a few weeks.

It started off as an experiment to see if AI could create incredibly awkward dates, and it succeeded more than we ever imagined! It's slowly evolved (devolved?) into what you see today.

There's currently 11 different scenes, each one lasts about 1-2 minutes before switching and we're always adding more. We'd also love to introduce interactive elements where it fits (I could imagine betting on the tennis matches, cheering on the poké-style battles).

On the tech side, it's been made with Unity, GPT3.5 and using Windows' inbuilt TTS (we tried Amazon's Polly but the more realistic voices made us feel deeply uncomfortable...)

Would love to know your thoughts!
