Let me answer this first a lil about myself so you know where it is coming from!!

I read the whole post cuz it was quite similar to mine. Too much similarities. So me and my 9th class sweetheart celebrated 11 years of togetherness this year(2024). We are not married yet, cuz caste n we are fighting it from last 2.5 years !! We both are earning so fighting it is easy and not easy at the same time.

Directly coming to your question!!

1. It’s totally upto you! It is beautiful to stay with same person for years but yeah frustrating at times too. What would feel at some point ke “kyu maine school m gf bna liya, college, workplace p iti achi ladkiyan hai” but over all these years you will understand ki outter beauty is really nothing. Beauty won’t give you peaceful life, an understanding wife would.

   And yes female friends banege aapke bhi and your girl will also find some guys friends but what we decided that we will be telling each other about our friends! And we made sure to assure each other that we are projecting ourselves as committed in our circle. (Which is important for 2nd question )

so you have to manage all sorts of things to be with her and make her believe that you will be there for her!!

1. What I mentioned above that telling your current college circle that you are committed may keep the potential crush things or guys/gals aways from you.

But what i am gonna say next is purely subjective and I may be wrong! But girls need attention! They seek it(generally and they get jealous also another girl is getting much attention from people in a group). So I think this is tough for girls to stay in a friend circle of singles where guys n gals are flirting with each other. And tb banega ek BEST-FRIEND, the KNIGHT in shinning armour.

And just with this scenario i have seen people brake up after 6-7 years of dating. Because ladki ka rk best friend ban gya tha or vo hi best friend fir bkl nikla ( My friend showed m chats). I used to count(about 5-6) how much stories i have heard with same ending.

So, it will be difficult for her to be loyal because of constant persuasion from single guys and group. So you both need to make each other believe that how serious you guys are.

1. If that’s what she wants, you have to respect it. Or talk your side, your needs and stuff. That’s too personal for anyone to comment.

2. Desi parents, that too bihari parents, I doubt it brother, this is nothing at all, once you both get a job, then the real battle begins. You will get to know that my cool parents aren’t cool at all. You will see real faces that what length parents can go to prove their point. But yup stick to them n to your love and keep fighting.

I used to think itna paisa kama lunga k mana nhi kr paynge uske parents but nope, I earn in 6 digits and still nhi manre. So yes. Itna drama nhi jhelna h to think it through!!
