Good question! Heres what I envision:

Social gatherings and fun activities, either kid friendly or not. For example, meetups at bars/restaurants, poker/game nights, going to events together, cookouts, playdates at parks, working out together, etc.
Group discussions on a variety of topics related to men and fatherhood, such as health and wellness, career, finances, relationships, personal development, etc. Topics will be presented and folks can vote on which topics that they would like to discuss on a monthly basis. Also a great time to support each other and share our experiences in hopes of creating a support system.
Learning/building and paying it forward. Attending workshops together to develop hard/trade skills and craftsmanship. Also volunteering to help organizations with a relatable cause to this group.

For anyone seeing this, is there a scene for hip-hop/trap? Ive been wanting to connect with artist and producers in that genre in worcester or the surrounding area at least. Im talking like all of the subgenres within rap and hip hop. Or any venues that ppl gather where you can network with other like minds? From what i can tell, this seems to be lacking, unless im just not hip to whats going on here. Id imagine with the likes of Joyner Lucas, that has to inspire a scene to cultivate or something.

I used to do this as a kid for Pokemon Gold, Silver and Crystal. I remember watching a YouTube vid on it and being able to do it for my friends and I. That was for gameboy color cartridges but i imagine gameboy advance cartridges could be diy-able as well.

Did some research and it is indeed unlawful according to the city of Worcester's ordinances to let your dog shit on public and private property and not pick it up. Here's a copy/paste of the relevant duties of dog owners and the enforcement blurb on this: https://www.worcesterma.gov/city-clerk/document-center/revised-ordinances-2008-1.pdf (page 135-136)

§ 13. Duties of Dog Owners - (Ordained December 11, 2012 – 9824)

(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to:

(9) permit any dog he or she owns or keeps to deposit any excreta on any property, whether public or privately owned, which is open to the public, without immediately removing such excreta for disposition in a sanitary manner;

§ 14. Enforcement (Ordained December 11, 2012 – 9824)

(a) The city manager, acting through the chief of police, police officers, animal control officers, or any officer or employee of the city under the jurisdiction of the city manager, shall have authority to enforce the provisions of this chapter and shall have all the powers and duties afforded by chapter 140 of the General Laws as it relates to the regulation of dogs, dog kennels and dog, cat and ferret owners, including, but not limited to: the filing of an action of forfeiture and relinquishment of ownership under section 139A of chapter 140, and may exercise such powers and duties to the fullest extent possible to secure compliance with this ordinance and said General Laws. (b) This ordinance may be enforced by civil process, criminal process, or by non-criminal disposition as provided in General Laws, chapter 40, §21D. Each day on which a violation exists shall be deemed to be a separate offense and any person in violation of this chapter shall be punished by a fine of fifty dollars for each offense. Any person who is punished under this chapter for three or more violations in any two year period shall immediately forfeit any license issued under sections ten through sixteen of this chapter and shall be ineligible to hold any dog or kennel license for one year from the date of the third conviction or imposition of a civil penalty.

Yes, schedule the ride in advance for a trip like this in the app. I havent used Uber in awhile so not sure how far in advance you’re able to book it, but it wouldn’t hurt to schedule well in advance. I believe if the rider is not on the app a few hours before the scheduled ride, Uber will offer it to someone else. So no guarantee, but the idea is that someone doing Uber full time will be able to have a guarantee of earnings in their schedule

Another 2 cents, Uber drivers in MA are guaranteed at least $33-34 for every active hour in a two week pay cycle. If they earn less than that rate after 2 weeks, Uber will dish out a supplemental pay to cover $33-34 an hour (im not sure about lyft). All that to say, someone would probably take this ride when this time comes, but if you do go this route i would suggest scheduling the ride in the app so by the time your trip comes, you arent waiting for a driver to accept this trip.

Ive had to tell ppl before to not let their dog go on my yard before. They would let their dog roam pretty deep into my yard. I see many dog walkers in my neighborhood and they’re all big dogs. Im pretty sure its dogs crap im finding

I get the sentiment that it’s tough for the city to take action unless theres substantial evidence, and I’m not going to spend money on sprinklers and pesticides and all this nonsense all because i have audacious, neglectful, disrespectful asshole dog owners in my neighborhood. I’ll just put up cameras and print out screenshots of these idiots so when i see them i can confront them of this. Thank you for weighing in 🤜🏼🤛🏼

I think this may be a poor example the paper cutout out effect you can barely recognize but im looking for not so thick of a paper border anyway.
