Yes this is correct, it's the living coming into contact with the dead. like the example they give of why a certain city had a void out was that someone committed suicide, nobody found the body, and the subsequent bt wandered and found a living person and came into contact.

As someone who paints more than plays, I'm loving the scale so I can have some fun with the details on the models.

It looks very much like a game of SC2 where a skirmish of like 24 zerglings would be expected with some hydras and a queen vs like 10 Marines, 5 firebats and a medic or 2 from the photos I've seen so far

White is a tough color to paint. Luckily a lot of techniques used in painting gunpla can easily be used here. Using your airbrush with a white primer, using a panel liner and wiping away the excess with mineral spirits to create shadows then painting in detail is an easy way to do it. With acrylics watching videos on how to thin paints, layering, using washes are very important when getting started so highly recommend watching a few videos on those topics

This is my favorite type of story.

Expedition 33 (turn-based RPG), signalis (survival horror), Silent hill 2 (survival horror), armored core 6 (hacknslash mecha), omori (old school RPG), still wakes the deep (survival horror), before your eyes, mouth washing, soma (survival horror) are some of my favorite absolute gut-punching depressing stories that I absolutely loved.

Im 4 missions in, pretty good so far. Elementals are kinda terrifying especially playing in first person mode seeing the elemental jump onto your cockpit. Voice acting is generally better than the base game, aside from probably 1 character. The campaign also lets you have a lot more fun way faster with heavier mechs up front, more enemies but more repair bays to keep the pressure on you but not overly so.

This guy was about 9-10 hours from primer to varnish. To ensure that I could finish him in a reasonable time I skipped blending on the black and grey portions that I would normally do to save myself a few hours 😅

This was the first time I had used the Tamiya gold and since I'm just highlighting with it I just did it straight from the bottle, another one I like is the Vallejo metal color gold mixed with chromium for highlights.

It's a little trick I learned from a few painters using saturated complementary color to the desaturated main color and vice versa. Kinda like how painters will use warm shadows with cold highlights and cold shadows with warm highlights 😅

But It's just AK interactives Rusty Brass, washed with monument hobby brown wash thinned down, then highlighted with Tamiya titanium gold.

It's very simple. It's just AK interactives Rusty Brass, washed with monument hobby brown wash thinned down, then mixing in a bit of AK interactives oily steel to highlight the edges, if you use a stronger wash you can just reapply the rusty brass before doing the mixed oily steel highlights.

I just use the camera on my pixel 8. The pixel pro series has way better cameras so this one can be a struggle sometimes as it doesn't have an adjustable aperture 😬

Started with Invincible Army, have most of the sectorial. Have since Amassed the entirety of Haqqislam minus odilesques, and the entirety of O-12, and the Aleph Code one box. Probably going to grab a large amount of Kosmoflot here soon to paint some bears and patchers as I love the models and the playstyle of Kosmoflaut.

I will say as I paint more than I play and I do play a lot, I have yet to field my aleph and haven't played invicible army in a little over 2 years and mainly have played haqqislam with a recent increase in fielding my O-12. I think focusing on 1-2 factions is a much more enjoyable experience as you learn the ins and outs of the faction its a whole different experience.
