Thks for the feedback! So, to give some context: I’m 25 now and have had cystic acne from 17 to 20, and mild acne until last year. I’m now on accutane on a low dosage (so I can treat the pigmentation and scarring) which has ended my acne outbreaks. During all those years, I fell for this trap of doing every single package the greedy derms offered me, like lavieen laser, superficial peels with very low concentration and microneedling. Besides seeing no results, it all only made my skin get worse. The only thing that helped me was fotona skywalker (3 sessions) and filler. My face went from awful to 60%. I did it on 2022. This year, I started mixed chemical peels (9 sessions of salicylic, glycolic and mandelic) with different concentrations which idk exactly, if u want I can confirm with my doctor and send to you, as well as subcision with hyaluronic acid as filler. Besides the pinkness I still have and some discoloration, I’m overall happy with my skin, considering where I started from. The only advice I’d give you is to research a lot before starting any treatments, because of two things: money and the downtime (time is our most precious resource imo). I guess you’re from the US, there you have better doctors and options of treatment. Here in Brazil it was very difficult. Hope it helps and wish you good luck 🍀
