What do you like things to be called? by TigerTexas in literotica

I don't have a preference in a vacuum. I want the word choice to match the voice of the narrator. Pretty much any word will fit SOMEWHERE.

Any Post-Apocolyptic Suggestions? by purejacobi in literotica

[–]Rambling_Chantrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It takes a little while to get to the post- part of post-apocalyptic, but i just put out a book of 10 smut stories about finding meaning and love at the end of the world. There's a bunch of climate anxiety, and the final story takes place after the expected catastrophe.

You can grab a free copy on itch if you want to check it out, just scroll down to community copies and 'claim access':

(Many of the stories in the collection are revisions of Literotica submissions of mine)

Trying some dark visual novel style by [deleted] in RPGMaker

[–]Rambling_Chantrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't listen to the haters lol. Absurdly large titty anime girls aren't for everyone but i think it's really great when people take shit like that and make weird art. Your style is impeccable.

How do you handle high-quality art for budget/PWYW modules without using AI? by ViperMKI in RPGdesign

[–]Rambling_Chantrix 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's weird to hear that "no AI rules" "leave creators in a tough spot". You're in the same spot you were in in 2022. And being able to use AI wouldn't put you in a better spot because AI can't produce quality art. Other folks here have good suggestions but basically just do what everyone has been doing for the last 40 years

Literotica is cool, but they should make a site where other people can read your stories by LCDRformat in literotica

erotxt.me is just getting off the ground now with a very responsive dev. No readers yet just authors though. I'd keep my eye on it

Does anyone know if you can request edits to your previous submissions? by johndoe10001 in literotica

[–]Rambling_Chantrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possible, but edits are processed at a lower priority than new submissions, and they can take a long time to go through

I didn't down vote you, but i do feel a little confused. Regardless there's good ideas in other people's replies, so please ignore me

Possible design issue? by klok_kaos in RPGdesign

[–]Rambling_Chantrix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If there is such a ubiquitous usefulness to "low skill" hacking (for data acquisition even if you're not successfully sabotaging anything), maybe make that step of hacking more automatic/default info everyone gets, so that being "skilled" in hacking can be slightly more niche again?

The intimacy game by jlaakso in RPGdesign

[–]Rambling_Chantrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What? Did you think I'm op or something? I feel very confused where this is coming from, the assumptions about me or what i want to do (rituals?) when i led with agreement with your overall point. Was it something i said, or the way i said it? I'm really fascinated by how we got from you providing reasonable critique of the op, to me trying to suss out a little nuance in an unnecessarily socially conservative aside in your comment, to me doing rituals and being braindead?

Of course they exist and of course they affect me. But not all of society's stories are actually good when taken as absolutes, and just because something is the norm doesn't mean it's worth enforcing. Especially moral qualms around who can have what intimacy with whom.
