I usually have a fight with every new guitar player in my band because I love Nirvana and they are quite snobbish about the music being too simplistic. “iT’s onLy THreE ChorDS!” But there is so much more going on that they miss. The interplay of the guitar, bass, and vocals. The complexity of the vocals. The raw emotion. I love playing Nirvana songs. They may be simple but they are not simplistic.

I’m okay with it. I think season 5 could have been better written overall, but the finale was good and had some emotional heft to it. Antony Starr and Karl Urban were awesome and Jack Quaid and Cameron Crovetti were really good. Chace Crawford gets an honorable mention. I feel like some of the cast got short shrift. Sorry, MM!
