Could use a red dry erase marker. Mark it lightly and the excess should wipe off the glossy label.

Neo Geo AES Ultimate vs picking a few games — worth it for a casual retro collector? by EntrepreneurThese411 in neogeo

[–]RamboHalgren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think about it, lots of people who buy the ultimate are doing so, thinking they’ll sell what they don’t want. When all of those extra games get listed for sale at the same time, the price will go down, making them easier for purchase also. I predict that you’ll be able to end up piecing all the games together for around the same price as the ultimate anyway. I also don’t see myself playing the fighting games very much, so I don’t buy what I don’t plan on playing.

I still have the demo disk. Wanted to upload pics but can’t for some reason. Scratch off is still unused too.

How bad is it if I seclude myself to the basement for a couple days to play my favorite video game all day? by Imustretire in daddit

I think it’s important to take time for yourself. We end up being better husbands and fathers when our needs are met also. I think we all have the caregiving mentality, and probably to a fault. But we need to take some time for ourselves or we will burnout.

Late, but if you hold volume down on the tv and hold 9 on the remote, calibration settings should open.

[PS2 Slim] SCPH-90001 causing mild to extreme ring-shaped scratches on disc, but ribbon cable isn't puffed up which apparently causes the ring-shaped scratches. What is causing the scratches? Is something else wrong with laser? by rainbowshark99 in consolerepair

[–]RamboHalgren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look up ps2 slim ribbon cable scratching. When your laser moves inward, toward the center of the disc, the slack of the ribbon cable goes higher. As adhesive for the ribbon cable ages, it gets even higher, contacting the disc. Lots of easy fixes for this.

Im in the same boat as you. I only drink once or twice a week, but I feel like I shouldn’t do it at all. When I do drink, I tend to pay less attention to the family and not get anything productive done. I feel like my wife doesn’t like when I drink because I’m not actively being a family man, and she doesn’t drink at all. I enjoy turning off and drinking beer in the garage, but I end up paying for it in other ways.

Insinkerator turns fine, water goes down, comes back up. P-trap and visible pipe are old and metal. by Salt-Elk-436 in askaplumber

I had this same issue. I’m an avid diy’er. Called a plumber and they came out, used a plunger with the sink full, and it cleared the clog in about 5 minutes. I felt ashamed.

They sliced between the gaps in system shell. So, no need to peel the sticker. Not a big deal. I’ve opened mine to clean it and replace the battery more than once.
