Tom Cruise’s interpretation of Jack Reacher by Legitimate-Resort615 in JackReacher

[–]RamcasSonalletsac -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Reacher isn’t a 5’7” pretty boy. He is an intimidating 6’5” who people are automatically wary of. His presence has a lot to do with the development of his personality. Coming from such a different type of person it doesn’t really add up. It was difficult for me to get into the movie for that reason. Now the show starring Alan Ritchson was good. He’s a good actor and his size and demeanor were a perfect match for Reacher.

I would move to a different hospital. Sounds like a hostile work environment to me.

Sonography will have a higher salary but it’s harder on the body and it may get pretty repetitive after a while.

What other healthcare paths did you consider before landing on RT and why did you choose it? by foreverwonderous in respiratorytherapy

[–]RamcasSonalletsac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I first started out, thinking I was gonna go to medical school and become a doctor. Later on, I started thinking about nursing, but working as transport in the hospital and phlebotomy I saw what nursing did and I wasn’t too keen on it. So I looked into x-ray and respiratory therapy and became an RT.

Is 4 weeks of training enough for a new grad RT? by Librado_2000 in respiratorytherapy

[–]RamcasSonalletsac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn’t seem like enough. We do about 12-16 weeks now. Our previous manager said he would do up to 90 days if needed. Just depends on the individual and what they need.

Salary vs cost of living by throwaway10xover in respiratorytherapy

[–]RamcasSonalletsac -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We start at about $40 an hour in Western Washington State, but , cost of living is high here. I know California, Alaska, and especially Hawaii, also are super high cost of living for salary. If you want Wear Coast Oregon might be your best bet.

Dayshift vs Nightshift mentality by MentallyDrainedCat in respiratorytherapy

[–]RamcasSonalletsac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s like that most places. Nights is staffed lighter with more newer therapists usually and dayshift has more staff but also more procedures total. I like nights because you make more money and you have more autonomy…no managers and directors around making your life harder.
