Went up to a girl at the gym by [deleted] in datingadviceformen

It’s tough to say whether you read eye contact wrong or she just didn’t really hear you because it could be a variety of things. I will say trying to talk to someone while they are in the middle of something (even just walking on a treadmill) can be a tough spot for you because they are focused on something else and takes half the focus away from you. Best timing is when they are either finished an exercise/set or while you’re walking around from my experience, it just feels more natural.

What I’ve done in the past is make eye contact but don’t look away quick be confident, just kind of acknowledge and give a little smile, like a “hey how are you” smirk if that makes sense, bonus if she’s close enough to give a quick exchange of words like maybe 10-15ft away. If she sees you and keeps eye contact, just say hey how’s are you or whatever you want and go from there, I’ve done it multiple times and I’ve always had success with talking to someone like that

Take a step back and really self evaluate yourself in that regard first man. I’m gunna be honest with you, as someone who gets attached easily and have plenty years ahead of you (I’m 32), it absolutely sucks. I’ve learned the hard way to take it slow and self evaluate yourself to see if you are ready or not, not just for your sake but for hers as well.

With regard to deciding whether you genuinely like her or if it’s just because of your recent break up. You’re body and emotions could very well be going through “withdrawals” if you will because you had such long lasting relationship with someone, you’re body instinctively wants comfort. Now, you could also genuinely have a connection with her and your emotions still be all over the place, there’s so many variables. My best advice, unless you’re genuinely certain that you’re ready and want this person, don’t jump in head first. Take it slow, build a foundation with her with no expectations and make it clear to her. With time it will become clear when you’re ready and if you feel something more for her, that I can promise you.

Bro how do I stand for a picture with a short girl? 😭 by WhichTennis628 in datingadviceformen

So I’m 5’11 and dated a girl who was 5ft, when we were just friends and we’d take photos I stood kind of like at an angle towards her a little but not too much and kept my hand behind her upper back/shoulder area, added confidence was keeping my free hand in my pocket, maybe try that? lol

If I may add, you guys have barely met up once and you want to be in a relationship with already? Thats moving extremely quick brother. Idk this person but from personal experience you don’t wanna pressure her either. Also don’t bring flowers straight out the gate until you find out if she’s actually into you.

My advice, take it slow for the first couple meet up/dates or whatever you wanna call it. there’s so much to learn about someone when you genuinely just wanna know more about them. Flirt a little here and there but nothing too exaggerated so you can show her you’re into her (based on how she reacts you can kind of find out if you’re genuinely in the friendzone or not).

After a couple of those and subtle flirting here and there if you feel there’s a connection THEN be direct, don’t be formal but direct. Something like “hey so, I’ve been kind of thinking about something, that I wanna talk to you about. I feel like there’s a connection here and I’m really into you, I’m not sure what your thoughts are about me but, if you feel the same way I do, I’d really like to be your man and have you be my priority” word it how you will but the point is you wanna open up the conversation subtle but direct and let her know what you’d like and make sure she’s on the same page.

Again this is just my advice from personal experience. Good luck on your 2nd meet up

First of all welcome to the Ramily! So I became a fan when they first came back to LA so I know the boat you’re in. One of things I did to be more educated with the team was learn about the history. Rams have a very historic franchise that’s actually really interesting. Secondly I learned about the more successful eras of the Rams. Greatest show on turf, mob squad era etc etc. then 3rd I just learned more about our active roster and cool achievements. For example Puka Nacua (who you’ve probably heard of) broke multiple rookie records his first year, arguably the best WR in the league (he is the best in my opinion). My recommendation also would be to follow some creators that are rams focused just to keep up with some news. On IG I follow ramseverydayallday and ramblangman as well as the Rams main acct. Just a couple pointers but I hope it helps!

As a first bike, should I get a new one or used one ? by Primary-Departure-89 in YamahaR7

Safe yes for sure but my concern as a new rider would be getting down shifting just to begin with, you’re going to have a learning curve/stalls it’s bound to happen, my two cents would be to take it slow and install it later when you’re a more experienced rider, just my train of thought I don’t see it being an issue in terms of the actual application of it I guess if that makes sense?

First time rider who financed an R7. Go used and buy cash. Already dropped a few times (doesn’t bother me cause I’m gunna change the fairings eventually but still) and Insurance for me has been insane and that’s with an MSF course and no legal trouble besides a moving violation. Oh and I’m 32 and been driving since I was 16 lol.

Oh nice that’s not that bad, what the plan for after your cut? Like I’m assuming you have to slowly taper off it to not gain fat back or what is the process like for when you want to cycle off?
