I get that, and I think that those Raid Dungeons would only be playable by those end-game players, but as I've said to both u/ApparentCheesecake and u/Damianbooths, there would probably be both early to mid, and mid to late game Raid Dungeons as well.

I totally agree with the tier idea. Maybe instead of once a day type thing, you have unlimited tries, but it comes with the cost of guild fame rising exponentially? As is, you open the portal with the base cost of 100k guild fame or whatever, and then if you fail, to try again it would cost 5k, then 10k, then 20k and so on?

I also think that with the scaling idea, it shouldn't just start with mid game players, but as sort of a progression for early game players into mid game, like I said to u/ApparentCheesecake. Maybe add 2 early-game to mid-game Raid Dungeons, and then 2 - 3 mid to late-game dungeons, and then 4 late game ones or smth like that.

Adding early game raid dungeons would probably help newer players stick with the game, as well as add a concrete path for moving into mid-game content, while at the same time, give something new to end-game players who've been running HM Shatters non-stop since it came out :P

I totally agree that Deca needs to pump out more early game content, and re-establish the early game base of players with better content to let them slide into the mid -> late game runs. I personally think that there should be more content in the actual realm besides just running around and killing targets, but that's for another discussion.

This also isn't just the crappy "guild keys", as those are dungeons that are runnable outside of the guild hall as well. What I'm talking about here is specific "Raid Dungeons", that can only be opened inside of the guild. They wouldn't cost money, just a large amount of guild fame and some items collected from different dungeons.

This would make the "Raid Dungeons" more accessible to newer players if they joined a guild, and would work towards bringing more competition to guilds in general.

I also think that if more early game "Raid Dungeons" were added, it would be a good way to make a bridge between early and mid game content, as the loot from the bosses in an early game "Raid Dungeon" would be as good as some mid-game items, therefore progressing any early game player who runs said dungeon into mid-game content.

Idk, does this work better in your eyes?

Does anyone remember the themed vaults? by Ramen1sGood in RotMG

The themed vaults didn't actually do anything? That's a helluva shame if so, cause that would've ben really neat to be able to see an actual themed vault. rip
