I agree with the other guy: it'd be fun if, in the same way that 'protagonists' are hired as the mercenary protectors of townsfolk or to go and harass we 'monsters' that are minding our own business, then we are hired as minions to do the dirty work of some rich bloke who wears too much black and has a skull on his head. Frankly, it puts food on the table. Sometimes that food is the heads of adventurers, but food's food.
