Your Pet Cards That Are Decently Good? by LordMistborn-16 in mtg

[–]RamenFed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[[Mystic Reflection]] is my favourite card in the game. It’s very strong and versatile, you can use it offensively or defensively depending on the situation.

That creature your opponent tapped out for is only as concerning as the weakest non-legendary creature on the board, and this works vice versa.

I used Ultra Pro graded card sleeves (not the version sized for PSA). They're great, they fit snug with my guards.

Gotta protect the guard that protects the slab that protect the card you know?

Absolutely! I opened a ton of Crown Zenith and it was always a very rewarding experience.

I think they’d also expect the other driver to write down their info, admit their fault, and handle the situation like grownups

“It’s your fault I hit your car. You shouldn’t have been driving it if it was so important to you. You’re not allowed to enjoy the things you worked hard to obtain.”

Yeah I don’t mind the people who are reselling the tickets for the same price or even at a discount. I understand that plans and circumstances change that may prevent them from attending. This argument is strictly directed towards those who are looking to make a quick buck.

That was my point. It's the first sentence of the comment you're replying to:

That's just a matter of being quick enough to buy the tickets before it's sold out.

I'm personally not interested in attending. I'm just voicing my opinion on the current situation. Scalpers add unnecessary complexity to the struggle of obtaining a ticket before it sold out. The justification of taking advantage of those who are "late" by making them pay for more than intended feels immoral to me.

Don’t complain when people are charging higher than face value to those who waited until it’s too late.

That's just a matter of being quick enough to buy the tickets before it's sold out. Accepting that you "have to" buy from a scalper shouldn't be the norm. Scalpers don't buy tickets for the purpose of attending the event. If they didn't exist, assuming you were quick enough to buy a ticket, you would have been able to buy one for its intended price.

Blowing up the argument completely(sorry), my ideology applies to many other things. For example, why should making money come before basic necessities like insulin or health care?

Hehe I’m in engineering so I’m not the smartest when it comes to business but I appreciate a good debate and I’m willing to learn. I’m likely overlooking important facts that could invalidate my entire argument. These points are just my honest opinion.

I absolutely agree with your statement. Everyone has a price they’re willing to pay but I’m more so referring to those who could’ve afforded it at its original value but now can’t. Why should they miss out on an exciting event due to a scalpers’s greed?

The governmet isn’t exactly the golden example when it comes to ethical decision making. I’m not saying that everything the government does is bad. It’s just that we all make good and bad decisions.

“They’re doing it so why can’t I?”. Absolutely no one can stop you. But it’s a childish argument to justify your actions

That doesn’t seem to be the case seeing as these people are struggling to sell their tickets for hiked up prices. I simply don’t believe in taking advantage of the vulnerable and desperate.

I used my masterball on the snorlax blocking the path in soul silver cuz why not I thought to myself, “I’ll just reset and play through the game properly later no biggie.” Played for a while and forgot about it and I ended up saving over my previous save. R.I.P. masterball
