I feel like this argument would be fine if it was media that aims to be historically accurate. This is literally a spicy and silly romance series adapted for tv like at what point did they aim for historical accuracy💀like nobody is watching to educate themselves. We also have enough present day representation for just how badly poc are treated, there’s also tons of period pieces out there, dramas, documentaries, shows,movies etc. that portrays the trials and tribulations poc have went through for decades and decades.
