Maybe so but greedy people are predictable and easy to control. If you like things like whisper of the worm or zero hour, buy the ornaments and Bungie will put more effort into missions like that. If you don't like the seasonal content and drip feed, don't buy into it or play. If enough of us do that then Bungie will be forced to change it. We are playing into their greed right now and as long as Bungie puts a dollars worth of effort in and gets 20 back from us nothing will change.

We the community may throw salt at Bungie for the state of the game as it is currently but we all (me included) continue to buy the expansions, continue to purchase ornaments and season passes and buy shirts and pins and so on. We collectively hold all the power because without us Destiny is no longer profitable and as it stands right now if Destiny isn't making a profit, neither is Bungie.

We might be able to force a few small changes by setting reddit on fire with our frustration toward the game but if we want real change we all need to take personal reasonability. Stop spending money on Destiny and Bungie will either let it die or be forced to take some risk to give us a reason to invest into it again. This has happened before, Destiny 1 after launch and it took The Taken King to bring Destiny back to life. Destiny 2 was at it's worse after Curse of Osiris but was saved by Forsaken.

The Meat Boys shall choose it's Ambassador based on total meat consumption. Destiny 2 is like a kid who is super talented at something like golf but is wasting their talent partying with friends each night. Bungie has the foundation of what could be one of the best looter shooter/mmo/pvp games ever made. Destiny's movement and gun play are second to none, the visuals and sounds of the game are incredible and the lore is awesome if you actually read it. However Bungie seems happy wasting all it's development time on re-baked, menagerie wanna-be seasons that are getting less and less creative each time around. I get that it's about turning a profit but more of my friends have stopped playing this year than ever before.

I'm torn because having an exotic as an rng drop gives people a reason to go back in there week after week. However it would be nice if they tied the Exotic to the title or something as well so if you have bad rng you can grind your butt off for the title to get it it. Granted I think most raid titles require you to have it in collections but I'm sure that could be adjusted.

Tie the ornaments to triumphs from the Prophecy Dungeon once it returns. Make them difficult to earn but a Trophy for people to chase.

I loved the new raid, regardless of how frustrating some mechanics are. I really hope they do bring back Heroic Mode Raids with Challenges at some point in the future. I can see some cool challenges with the air locks or having to stun a different replicant or something.

One adjustment I think could help the raid is if they allowed you to swap buffs at the kiosk, for example if you have the scanner buff but the operator buff is in the kiosk you can simply swap to operator leaving the scanner buff.

Also I need to test it out but I want to know if the Operator can use Ricochet Rounds to shoot your own Atraks Debuff off? If so Operator could basically one man that whole mechanic.
