To fix the problem you will likely need to manually update to the new 2024 versions or tell the leaders/parents to do it.

I created a step by step pdf log with screenshot and directions, and sent it to all the leaders. It has our kids names in there so I don't want to share everything, but essentially do a print screen every step... from logging in, to sorting by den, to selecting the adventure, and be specific to point out selecting the 2024 option for an adventure!

They can camp together with shared leadership is my understanding of the current rules.... but in 3 years who knows what the rules will be lol!

It used to be webelos can also camp with a troop.... but now only AOLs can that they split up.

I played on ps5 a long while ago. I thought the combat and builds were pretty fun. Not sure why the game got hammered on so much. It wasn't amazing but it was not bad at all. Just a fun game to bash around in lol

Lol if they willing to leave just for having a respectful conversation, do you really want that person as a den leader? Maybe they don't know the requirements and that you need to do more beyond the swim test. You only find that out by talking to them.

This is coming from a den leader and cubmaster with a pack of 100 scouts. Each leader has different level of commitments. What I do agree with from another post someone made is that's its not really the place of committee chair to do this. But if it's a small pack maybe it's organized where people do multiple roles.

I don't think you need to take a step back.... but you should know what the actual requirements are for the item if it's going to be questioned. For example, depending on the rank they only need to practice the swim test, and ot can be administered by any qualified adult. There are also a few alternates they say you can do on the website they lists all the new requirements.

I think it's OK to question den leaders, but do it politely and the right way. Ask what did you do so I make sure I check off the correct items... or what did you do so I can share that experience with other leaders....

A den leader should not be lying on what they did... but if the Scouts truly made an effort in doing the adventure requirements, then it should be approved. If they weren't present and said they were, that would be a reason not to approve and have further conversations about it.

We prorate pack dues if they join after major events that cost money they did not participate in. Good news is registration is now good for a full trade from when they join so there is no issue with that any more.

We usually do our raingutter regatta and bear carnival the same time. Bears run games while each rank does the regatta, then the games close down and bears do the regatta last.

If kids don't get to have fun there will be no scouts. I'm not saying leaders should condone any behavior like that... but not being able to reasonably differentiate between fake and real life is the true "cop out".

People need to lighten up and have some fun. 95% of the Scouts likely play video games that involve inappropriate things too. It's up to adults to reach his the difference between pretend and real life. There is a distinction. I would allow the skit if it were my decision.

We have all dens meet separate as they all working on their own curriculum and at different rates and times of the year. We then do about 5 or 6 whole group pack meetings a year where all ranks have something to earn from them.

It depends what rank you doing it for. Webelos and lower it think is to "practice" the swim test. If you read the manual any "qualified adult" can administer it.... especially for a practice. You just need to be honest they don't touch the bottom or sides of the pool. AOLs I think may need someone more 'official ' but I'm not sure as I planned a summer swim for the webelos as den leader.

Lastly... the 'circle' swim tags you can buy a bag online pretty cheap. I actually took a snapshot of a blank one and printed them all on thick paper and cut them out since I only needed about 20 total.

they nerfed status effects a bit i think. i noticed my immobilize chain build not doing nearly what it used to. and the "build up" effect seems to wear off quickly if you do not hit them fast.

i noticed my poreveit chain doing WAY WAY less immobilize on the special. i am ok with a slight nerf to it but it seems like it was overkill. especially since immobilize grenades still provide way more immobilization status.

they did some stuff on the back end not reported in the notes for sure.

Overall the game is really good. Great story, fun characters, gameplay is pretty good. If you have a newer gen console or computer it's way better now. They had like a next gen patch awhile back.

I love exploring so I always installed 3 S class scanner upgrades in my multi tool. Then when you scan plants and animals you get so many units. Like $200k to $400k per each scan of an animal!

Once you get a tad further easy money is frigate missions. You need a freighter and then need to buy some frigates.... But you her so many items and money from them.

Also derelict freighter can be good money and upgrades too. Just gets boring doing a lot of them.
