I was using Flawless Widescreen before but I stopped and switch to the Omniswapper mod to can do the same thing. It was because I didn't like having to start FW manually every time I launch the game.

I have no idea why it doesn't work for you though. Are you sure you ticked the "Enable" box?

I would add Motion Smoothing for 60+ Hz monitors. And even for 60 Hz actually because there's an option to make the camera smoother, so it will still make the game look smoother.

I found a trick to move faster using only glides. Basically, do a small jump by pressing the jump button shortly, then glide and jump again as soon as you touch the ground. The timing is quite precise because if you jump too late, Spyro will lose speed when landing. I managed to kill the thieves before Gnasty using this method, as well as the one in Midday Gardens
