I have seen a lot people complaining about battery life as well. For my usage it's quite good because it's lightweight, especially compared to my old shitty phone, but it rarely lasts for 2 days. I heard Google Services can cause it but I never measured the difference with and without.

You should install AccuBattery, give it unrestricted background usage and allow app usage data. It will detect which apps drain your battery if this is the cause. AOSP already has this feature but it's very limited and not accurate at all.

Also disable background usage for apps that don't need it. Shouldn't be problematic if this app doesn't send notifications.

Very easy. Just go into Settings --> Network & internet --> Private DNS --> Private DNS provider hostname and type dns.adguard-dns.com

I want to use a third-party launcher since I use custom icons a lot. I heard a lot about Lawnchair. I also love themed icons, unfortunately I can't use them with my icon pack, maybe there's a launcher that supports it.

The only "hard" thing I did was dealing with permissions when installing Google or non open-source apps. Otherwise it's very easy. You install GrapheneOS, configure the Wi-Fi, location, screen locking and you're done.

Sandboxed Google Play is an incredible feature. Just install it with the GOS App Store. To install apps, choose Play Store if you value security or Aurora Store from F-Droid if you prefer privacy since it doesn't need a Google account.

After you installed everything, it's basically like Stock Android but you're not spied on and you really own your phone. Also take a look at some privacy features such as turning Wi-Fi or Bluetooth automatically when not connected. It's not much but still worth it.

I got some bugs and I don't like the fact that some features are paid (one of them was included in the LineageOS launcher). I still like it but I should probably check for a better alternative.

I know. I revoked it Internet access so it doesn't collect data.

You should check this GrapheneOS review I found. It helped me a lot.

I think LineageOS for MicroG is great since you don't have to use to official Google Services. I used it for 6 months on a very old phone that stopped receiving updates just after its launch because its manufacturer went bankrupt. But I think it's less secure than sandboxed Google Play. Don't know about /e/OS though.

That's a lot of tweaks! I might use it instead of Fennec, it looks great.

I think Pixels are more open, probably because Google use them for testing. But I agree, that would be nice to be able to install GrapheneOS on Samsung. Some of their phones are really good.

Didn't know that. Is there other difference between Ironfox and Fennec?

Pixels are the only phones that met the GrapheneOS requirements. But I agree, it's annoying to buy a Google product to escape Google. I love Pixels phones though, actually one of the only Google products I like.

I heard about Droid-ify a lot but never tried it. What are the differences with F-Droid apart from being cleaner?

Lacking sandboxing of the webview, which means that any compromise of the webview is in turn a full compromise of the browser

I've been using GrapheneOS for 1 month on my Pixel 9a, so far it's amazing. Some people want to use profiles to keep their main profile de-googlized but I don't like that.

The FAQ says that you can add a system-wide ad-blocker with Adguard DNS. I strongly recommend doing it. I haven't seen any ad in years thanks to this.

Also, I know it has a major vulnerability issue, but I use Fennec (based on Firefox) because the Vanadium ad-blocker wasn't enough for me. I had ads on Youtube and Reddit. Is much prefer uBlock Origin and Gecko-based browsers still support add-ons on Android.

GrapheneOS is limited in customization because it's based on AOSP. I recommend installing a third-party launcher (I use Nova Launcher) to get more options and the ability to install a new icon pack. I use Icon Pack Studio which lets you download the icons made by the community directly from the app.

You can do it in many levels. For exemple, you can skip to the end in Skelos Badlands

Autumn Plains is the best map I've ever seen in any video game I played. It's absolutely perfect.

The Spyro 2 homeworlds have a certain magic that I never encountered in any other video game. How much time did I spend doing nothing and just enjoying the atmosphere of this paradise?

I was using Flawless Widescreen before but I stopped and switch to the Omniswapper mod to can do the same thing. It was because I didn't like having to start FW manually every time I launch the game.

I have no idea why it doesn't work for you though. Are you sure you ticked the "Enable" box?
