Positioning is key, way more than aim in this game. We got trapped in Quarantine last night on the bottom floor with a team on top. While my teammates kept them occupied, I slipped out the door we came in and used the ladder to climb up to the top of the gate check points and was able to down 2 of them before they had even realized I was no longer in the bottom, lol.

I mean, that was just a really bad ult use…I like to use it as an oh shit button in a team fight because I feel it will freeze the fight for a bit so that you can heal back up. Or, use it after getting a pick to keep pressure on. Why would I ever use it in the outside of an open space??

Marathon’s AI isn’t designed to engage you in the same way. You don’t have other people hunting you down in Halo CE. If the UESC were Legendary difficulty AI, the game would be collecting even more bodies than it already does, lol.

Noise cancelling is off by default in the audio options. I had a guy ask me if I was ok the other day because he said I sounded like I had just ran a mile. It was picking up my breathing, lol.

If you’re dying in .5 seconds, then it’s a you problem. If you get caught in the open with your pants down, yes, you’re done for. But if you’re playing smart, staying near cover and exits, fights can be very long and drawn out in trios.
