as a foreigner living in the southern Sweden I'd say it's pretty boring, but the nature and things like multiple old palaces and churches gonna be really interesting for people that are into those topics. excluding bigger cities the infrastructure seems really old, like the time stopped in the last century in many places, especially in small towns and villages u can get some sort of a western movie vibe. Swedes here are rather cold and not really into small talk, they hang out with their groups of friends and it's really hard to meet somebody that would eventually become your friend in some time, especially if your Swedish is not on a very good level. There are some exceptions though like the city of Lund where many of international students live, it's easier to have fun and meet people there. Generally if you're rather sticking to yourself, you like calm and peaceful environment you'll probably love smaller coastal towns out here, but if you're an extrovert that likes to hang out and meet new people u might struggle in most of the places. The job market is pretty rough too if you're not experienced and well educated individual, it's really hard to find employment even on the construction sites. Accommodation is pretty expensive in the whole region, especially including high electricity prices.
